I just saw a program on this on the History channel. I googled and found a site that talks about it.

I thought it was pretty interesting. Anyone else?

There was another 'Phoenix Lights' event about a month ago. Some guy came forward claiming to be the perpetrator of the hoax, but he was in fact covering up the real event.

Road flares are bright but not that bright. I like how the guy didn't want his face shown but the neighbor of his said how he looked over his fence to see his neighbor letting one off. LOL
IMO the guy didn't do it

If it weren't for the possiblity of starting a freaking fire somewhere, I'd try it to see.

Honestly how are you going to get balloons in perfect alignment in the sky for that long.
The winds in the southwest are out of control, especially in the desert. The winds would have blown them all of course.
Not to mention flares don't look like that...More orange than red.

Yeah that was another thing. Even if they were tied together, they'd still not be straight.

It's a hologram. Nothing to see, here, folks.
Seriously, though, I'm willing to accept the govgoons have tech we don't know, because that's how they operate.
I will not accept alien craft though.

Why not? Doesn't fit your worldview?
Its too late, they're already here.

Prove it without grainy YouTube video.

That's about easy as asking proof for god. I've seen some fucked up shit on my own. Personal experiences don't count as evidence, remember?
Meditate every day for a year and then tell me we're alone.
You know what, listen to my podcast if you want. This is one of the contact experiences I've had and is the easiest way for me to explain it.

If I could upload a 10mb file I would, but I think its too big for this site?

Hey guys. I have posted some replies to this event over at SOhai. Whether you believe me or not, I have no control. I will tell you my account of the 1997 event.
I moved to AZ in 1996 with my girlfriend at the time. We moved to Chandler which is near the Ahwatukee Foothills. We were having a party the night of the aforementioned event. We were all, about 15-20 of us, in our backyard when a couple of friends noticed the strange lights in the sky. At the time we all noticed it, the triangle of lights was in full "lit" mode. All the lights were in perfect triangular form. And they were quite bright. The lights appeared for at least two minutes. Then, each light slowly faded away and appeared to flicker out.
The thing that really blew my mind was how big this triangle of lights really was. It was enormous!!! It seemed way too big to be any kind of flare formation. And the lights didn't move as a flare would fall and descend. These were stationary and remained in formation.
We did not hear any kind of noise such as an engine would sound on an airplane. We did not see any kind of aircraft in the surrounding area either. We all just had this eery kind of feeling going through us. Everyone was pretty much silent as we had never seen anything like it. Just a feeling of awe.
As I said before, we were all partying and pretty fucked up. No one had a video camera and cell phone cameras were not as common as they were now. Not that that would have helped as they are terrible in the dark.
As I said earlier, whether you choose to believe me or not is up to you. As God, Buddha, Allah, and whoever else you may believe in, as my witness, I was one of the many many folks that saw whatever it was that night in 1997. I would definitely say it falls under the UFO category. I will not give exact address of our house, but the street was North Mckemy Avenue. Chandler AZ. Check out the locale if you wish.

I believe ya PH. I believe there's UFO's, I haven't personally seen one though. I'm not sure there's green/grey aliens, haven't seen one of those either, though I'd probably pee myself if I did. There's just no way we are the only ones out there. It's too big, too many unknown places/planets for it to be just us. Hell there's some humans I wouldn't classify as intelligent.

Good point!!!LOL
I just get very frustrated with all the bullshit posting about clear proof of UFO/alien existence. I just have a hard time grasping the fact that all video and pics are never fucking clear? Why is that. How is it with all of our technology, no one can ever get a clear video. It is always grainy, wavy, dark, fuzzy, blurry, etc. Just gets annoying after awhile.

Oh, I believe there are Unidentified Flying Objects, just not alien ones.
There's no aliens here. Nor on Venus. :P

Listen to my podcast then tell me what's up. Do it, I dare.
And then use the technique I gave you and really honestly believe. You will shit your pants :D. I almost did.

For some reason bs, I have difficulty listening to the podcasts. It seems to be some technical thing. I need to figure it out. There are a lot that I want to listen too. It really pisses me off.

I was raised on a “secret’ navy base in the desert nicknamed “The secret city”. The navy launched flares all the time, then the next morning we kids would run out into the desert and get the parachutes. The flares always had a bright visible smoke trail. When it’s a military flare, you know it’s a flare.
