Ack!! Four hundred and forty-five monetary units
The Bitch will be sober for the rest of the month with these rates. :(

Damn! Is it cheaper to buy another one?

No. A new one with the same capacity would cost 2.5x the price. The repairman also said that the new one would probably get busted within 3-5 years. Says that for the past 5-7 years the quality of the components in fridges have dropped, hence the price drop to half of what it was.

I'm guessing you don't have places that sell used ones?

Short notice (it just got busted) + plenty of perishables = no choice need quick fix.

You mean you can get a same day repairman? Wow!!! It can take days or even weeks for an appointment here, depending who you go with. Same day repairs are usually billed at premium rates.

I called the guy, he appeared with an assistant an hour later and they fixed it within the hour. I can't say I am not satisfied with their work. They really knew what they were doing and they fixed it real quick and precise (I was watching the whole way). I guess it was really worth the price I paid (there was even a one year warranty given on the spare part they replaced).
I'm only sad I can't use the money for entertainment now. It was earmarked for entertainment.
