View Full Version : Firefox - Now What ???

I was online and logged off to do something. When I tried to go back into Firefox, it kept shutting down. I've been running the virus checkers, etc. but nothing so far.
The only way I'm able to get on right now is in Safe Mode for Firefox.
Has anyone else experienced this? Ideas?
I'm thinking maybe it'll correct after I restart, but I'm doing a complete sweep of the computer right now with AVG 8.0 and it's not done yet.
Fuck! When did I get nearly a million items on my computer? Damn!

I reinstalled Firefox and rebooted and the problem resolved.
i hate when computers do shit like this, I really do.

Firefox has a nasty habit of crashing. However, its nice because it doesn't track your searches like other web browers (IE for instance, that shit is the definition of all seeing eye).

Crashing's one thing, clicking on the icon and having it not open at all and just put up an error message is another.
Freaking thing. Oh well, when in doubt, scream and shout. Got that part down, at any rate. :wink:

Opera is supposed to be a good alternative to firefox/internal explorer. Safari is cool on macs, but it crashes too. It used to be every five minutes, but now its down to every few day.

I didn't like Opera. FF it is. Stupid shit. At least it's better than IE. I hate IE.

I don't use opera or firefox or IE. Safari needs an update because it shouldn't crash as much as it does. Fucking macs :arg:

I didn't like Opera.
Opera is awesome to use on a phone. Really saves cost compared to the built in browsers.

I have zero problems using firefox 2.0.0.4, running on windows server 2003.
