Sure, we are smelly and dirty at times and we are also quite capable of being massive pricks, but, who gives a damn?? We are fucking built that way.

Why is it that it's now considered good for men to be in touch with their "feminine" side and constantly crying and "sharing their feelings"??

What's wrong with leaving the feminine side to the women???


Personally, I see nothing wrong with having to be the one that does the fighting/defending and being the one that the kids are scared will find out about the bullshit they have pulled.


When did it become more common for a man to be more adept at washing dishes and digging in the garden than painting the house or rebuilding the transmission?

I am running out of buddies around here because I no longer know any men that like to go fishing or play some fuckin basketball. All the guys I know would rather watch some fuckin decorating show on one of the useless networks and are absolutely fucking TERRIFIED of a fight.

He wants to go hunting, shooting, baseball or football games. He doesnt watch them on tv though.

Providing food for your family, whether grown, caught, or hunted is certainly an honorable duty.

I agree with pretty much everything else you said. I don't take showers every day that's for sure...

However, sharing one's feelings does not make you a woman. Men have feelings too. Its not a good thing to be cut off emotionally. Trust me on this one as most of my teen years were spent as a stoic; I was emotionally bankrupt.

I'm not saying cry at the drop of the hat either, but having emotions is not a bad thing.

I'm starting to think... and maybe this is just me... that I'd rather blow my brains out then hold a fucking purse ever again, or have/use a pet name ever again, or say "I love you". when deep down inside under all the denial I never meant it, EVER AGAIN!!! Hell yes Jasn, hell yes. I have often wondered the same thing, masculinity (sp?) seems to be frowned upon these days. It doesnt mean we have something wrong with us, we are just men and by god that is a good thing.

I am not a brawler, but I dont really agree the whole it takes more of a man to walk away then to fight. I think fighting just for fighting is a young mans game and childish. However men are fucking warriors, we are supposed to fight one another, especially when some other son of a bitch is asking for it. I am sorry but I think the, it takes more of a man to walk away is an excuse that people that are afraid to stick up for themselves use. That is just my opinion and I really dont mean to upset anyone with it, so dont take it personal. I guess my ancestors were all fighters, I am more likely to punch someone in the damn face then walk away. As I get older, my fuse gets longer, but once that fucker burns out, go away.

I think the problem is women watch all this TV and they see these metro fuckers on there and think, hey that is the perfect man. There are still MANY fights that are very very hard to walk away from.

I'm NOT one to start a fight...

However, in a situation where someone is in need of defense that they cannot provide for themselves, I'm all over it.
