I'm more of a tzatziki kinda guy myself... A like it with a real strong mink flavour and drizzled with virgin olive oil!

Dip away!

yes that is good stuff, on bread, crackers, I like to use it as a dip for carrots and celery also. I bought some of the horseradish hummus, fucking killer.

Hummus is good, indeed.

We have some upstairs in the fridge; sesame seed and Greek olive.

I absolutely love Hummus!! It's my favorite food!
It's also very easy to make and when the store here is out of tahini, I use peanut butter instead -- and it's just as good too!

I also make my own yogurt cheese balls (got this recipe from a Palestinian friend of mine). Here's the recipe for that.

Pour a couple of large containers of plain yogurt (not the non-fat kind) into a large doubled up cheese cloth and hang the cheesecloth bag, with the yogurt in it, onto something over a bowl for the water in the yogurt to drip into.

Depending on the humidity factor in the air, it usually takes about a day and a half for the yogurt to end up with the consistency of cream cheese.

Anyway, the more water that's drained out of the yogurt, the better -- it should end up stiffer than reg. cream cheese.

Then just scoop out half handfull's of the yogurt and roll them into small balls -- and put them into a large jar filled with olive oil (or any kind of oil of your choice). No need to refrigerate but I usually refrigerate.

Yogurt cheese is best served in slightly toasted pita bread with onion, cucumber slices and a thin slice of tomato.
