I was just wondering.... I know thou that has no name here is getting pretty ugly, but I think we should encourage some people to try and stick to that forum, too. If we abandon those who are just beginning the journey, we'll lose some potentially critical thinkers in the process.

I sure hope I can keep the peace in that forum as well, but I've been stirring up trouble of my own, and I got like three or four of the mods descending on me in a thread entitled "The problem with ATS sometimes..."

All I have to say was there was a lot of squawking. I know I ruffled at least a few feathers, and I didn't even know what I was getting into.

Hello there! I wanna get down to some real dirt here, so let's talk real truth.

Oh one thing.... How can you ever be sure this site won't get compromised somehow? Well, more specifically.... What procedures are you guy(s) running the site putting in place in order to ensure relative safety from sabotage or disinfo 'agents'?

If we're gunna get down and dirty into some deep black concepts here, this is a serious question. People can get killed over too much info, ya know?

Other than that, I'm happy to be part of this new experiment.

Very cool layout of the site, by the way. Reminds me of my old Pixies (band) forum hangout. Too bad they totally blew their reunion. I fucking got a Pixies tattoo for that reunion, and then after all that ouring.... nothing. GRR!!!!

I hope that this place doesn't ever become over-modded. If someone signs up and gets their feelings hurt and needs their hands held over someone disagreeing with them in a post, they probably would be more comfortable elsewhere.

Well, it didn't take me long to get into things because my feelings about ATS have been brewing for a while, and I naturally cuss like a sailor. The coke machine at work ate my dollar and I was cussing up a storm so much, the entire back half of Home Depot could hear me. I swear to God, they are brainwashing the employees with their fuckin' Home Depot Radio. They play REM's "Shiny Happy People", missing the whole point of the song....

but it works. Whatever they do works. They're piss poor at giving employees fair hours, thugh. It's either too much or too little. During shelving resets, they swindle some of the employees to work 20 hours or more! What the fuck? I get fucked because they give me just few enough hours so they don't have to give me full time benefits or better pay, yet the whole workload falls on my crew because they lie their ass off hiring people, and like I've been there three months. Since then, they've hired four people who have been there for a few days, and left... because they were not told about the extra hours they are forced to work. I'm doing the work of three people, and I'm getting 9.00 an hour for it. Luckily I still live with my mom and we can jjjjjussst barely get by with some comfort. I can't fucking afford to get out on my own, nor do I want to at this point. It's smarter to stay together in these growing times of hardship.

I just wish we'd all treat each other like family and give without question. No need for the welfare system if we supported and encouraged those who needed it. I try the best I can to do that. Sometimes I give all my money away, even to people who may not be so deserving. Someone asks, and I give if I have it. Nobody isn't deserving of something.

Oh... and while I'm on the subject of me.... look at how great and awesome I ammm. I can do somersaults!!!! and cartwheels!!!! and disco dancing!!!! memememememe egoegoegoegoegoegoegoego!!!
