It is a reality of PC liberalism: There is only one credible side to an issue, and any dissent is not only rejected, it is scorned. Global warming. Gay "rights." Abortion "rights." On these and so many other issues there is enlightenment, and then there is the Idiotic Other Side. PC liberalism's power centers are the news media, the entertainment industry and academia, and all are in the clutches of an unmistakable hypocrisy: Theirs is an ideology that preaches the freedom of thought and expression at every opportunity, yet practices absolute intolerance toward dissension.
Evolution is another one of those one-sided debates. We know the concept of Intelligent Design is stifled in academic circles. An entire documentary to state the obvious? You can see my reluctance to view it.

Hey vckums, interesting find. It always get to me how some people call our media "liberal and/or PC". It is anything but liberal, the media is almost solely owned by far-right conservative zillionaires. Rupert Murdock, for one, owns alot of media outlets. Richard Scaife (another rich neocon) is another one and he puts up lots of bucks to buy media outlets as well.
Uh, as for ID not being accepted by academia, well, duh. It's not science. As soon as I see someone call the media liberal, I always wonder if they're a disinformation agent from the govt.

Ha! Stifling halls of education and academia. What utter twaddle.
ID doesn't stand up to academia because it isn't academic. Anyone that fell for Ben Stein's "documentary" that was staged by lying to scientists about what they were being filmed for, is a moron.
ID is religion. All anybody has to do is go to see the Discovery Institute's Wedge Document (http://www.antievolution.org/features/wedge.html) to see that.
No matter how it's dressed up, and how they use the smoke and mirrors of propaganda in film or internet form, it's still religion and has no place in public school.
Now, who wants to arm wrestle about it?

Ben Stein vs. Yoko Ono
You're fucked fuckface!
NEW YORK (Reuters) - John Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, and his sons are suing the filmmakers of "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" for using the song "Imagine" in the documentary without permission.
Lennon recorded the song in 1971 and in 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it No. 3, in their 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, according to the lawsuit.
Yoko Ono, son, Sean Ono Lennon, and Julian Lennon, John Lennon's son from his first marriage, along with privately held publisher EMI Blackwood Music Inc filed suit in U.S. District Court in Manhattan seeking to bar the filmmakers and their distributors from continuing to use "Imagine" in the movie.
They are also seeking unspecified damages.

They juxtapose it with images of communists an nazis. Don't think Yoko will be happy with that, never mind the unauthorised use.

And I could never figure out what up with a Jew going for ID.
