Figure I'd post more in here, and deciding to be brave.

Several months ago I recalled being in a strange room, it was very large and, actually rather spacious. There were some windows, and peering out them revealed a walkway. I was sitting on, I guess the best way to put it, would be bleachers. I was sitting there for quite a long time. I noticed several tall skinny beings, mainly keeping to themselves, doing....well, whatever they were doing. Every so often one would come up to me and just kind of size me up (something to that effect, they would come up and just kind of look at me, but not a casual glance). But for the most part, I was left alone. At that point, I had discovered the window, and I had stood up and moved over to it, and peered out. I was looking at a wide hallway of some kind, but a very busy walkway, I was seeing quite a few of these shorter...things. They all just kind of passed by, not even looking, but one, one saw me looking out and came up to the window. It was a pretty awesome experience to come face to face with it, just kind of looking at each other with the sense of "woah..." After a few minutes of us just looking at each other, I was pretty much escorted back to the bleachers, and there I sat again, kind of getting bored. All of a sudden another tall one, almost practically appeared in front of me, he gave me a shock! I kinda went "Agh!" I think I know this 'guy', but I don't remember meeting him before this. He started touching random parts of me, arm, etc. I think it was an initial check up. I didn't freak out or anything, I just kinda sat there, like I've done it a million times before. One of the last things I remember is him sticking, I think they were his fingers, actually kinda long fingers, into my ear, and telling me I needed to clean my ears! *sigh*


About a week ago, I had something strange come up, strange screen...and very very short.
(In advance: I play an MMO Called Final Fantasy XI. There is a race called the tarutaru, seen here:

So, I was just standing outside, waiting in my pjs, and a craft landed in front of me. I wasn't scared, I was actually rather happy. And when it landed, a tarutaru came out! It looked like my friends character, so I was even happier. He started walking toward me, and I said, "Mike! What are you doing here?!" Not a word. He walked up to me and I was able to look at him close, he still looked like my friends character, but I thought to myself, "Oh, you're not Mike..." he started walking off, and even without a second thought, I was following him back into the craft. As soon as I entered, everything went black.

Kinda testing the waters again... :P

Problem with the 'tall' one is that I dont remember most of his face. That and his feet. I'm not preoccupied with feet so I never noticed.

But seriously... was this like during your waking time, and then things get abnormal, and at some point you black out?

Or is it like... the time surrounding it is entirely foggy? Like... could you have fallen asleep in a lazyboy unexpectedly on a rainy day, and not even realizing you dozed off? Or is this a solid enough event that you can compare it to the likes of being fully conscious?

When I first recalled the first one I typed, I wanted to throw it out as a dream I must have had, but a few things didn't sit right in my head, and so I've been trying to work on recalling as much as I can, which has convinced me it wasn't a dream to begin with.

the second one, hell it could've been a dream, I remember dozing off, and then all of a sudden I'm outside waiting. Following the taru up to the craft, and into it, everything went black. For a long time. No other dreams, wasn't startled awake by it (usually the case with me, I'll dream right up until my eyes open, almost). The craft and even the tarutaru were rather convincing if it was a dream.

Did that make sense? *sigh*

It can lead to bulshit when done badly. But consider the Hill case and Dr Benjamin Simon. Betty and Barny each recalled identical experiences during separate hypnosis. The sessions were the first time the method was used in an abduction event. The sessions were recorded and transcribed and are still avaialble for study. There was no apparent 'leading' by Dr. Simon. Dr Leo Sprinkle, Dr David Jacobs and Dr John Mack later developed protocols to guard against the problems you've mentioned with varying degrees of success. Their work is well documented. Worth considering. I wouldn't be too hasty to dismiss the usefulness of hypnosis out of hand.
