The aftershocks of the earthquake, that hit Illinois this morning, could be felt all the way in St. Louis and even right here in central Kentucky. The earthquake read 5.4 on the Richter scale.

One of my acquaintances who lives in Illinois was telling me about this earlier.
I wonder if this will cause a massive quake on the New Madrid fault and cause massive damage like it did in the late 19th century.

It also was felt in Atlanta, Chicago and Cincinatti. Oddly though it missed us in TN and we're right in between KY and Atlanta.

I'm 15, and as long as I've been alive, there hasn't been one...

Wow, guess I'm just used to them here. We get tiny ones every day and most we can't feel. I think we can feel them over 3.0? We've had some big ones, and they say we are going to get another one. This house Im in has withstood them all with no damage ever *knocks on wood*
