Maybe subtle changes in the frequency of the hum is what those elephants listen for when they predict an earthquake. Us seals can't really hear that shit. We just panic if we see the penguins panicking. That system works well enough.

That makes a whole hell of a lot of sense, fur face! Elephants communicate with low frequency vocalizations, and with those huge ears, maybe they can sense the hum.

Nice. I think that's definitely possible, because the solar cycle affects the weather and atmosphere, which is what they think is causing the sound.

And as the new solar cycle gets up towards its peak,the EM fields grow in strength-The effect of growing electro magnetic field strength on our spinning home would surely change the noise a little bit at least.

Yeah,I was kind of thinking about some crazy idea whereby the resonant freq of the suns mag field would match that of the Earths mag field,its theoretically possible,and would maybe result in a similar situation as the opera singer with the wine glass

(I don't mean the glass smashing as per the general perception,more the glass "singing" when the singer hits the correct frequency.Its resonantly "tuned".)

Imagine it,the whole earth singing the echo of our life giving star,through vibrations.
