Boondock, I just checked, I'm still on that other site, though who knows how long, but if you want me to U2U anyone there that you miss, just let me know and I'll be happy to do so. You could PM to me your email and I'll PM it to whoever you want.

I've spent the past 24 hours on here reading about so many good people being banned and reading their stories. I knew it was dysfunctional over there, but I didn't know it was this bad. GN, your story of how you were treated there made me so angry with them. John Lear's story was sad, as well. And the experinces of several others, all of them treated in a humiliating, shaming way. And no closure being allowed, WOW, taht's just cruel.
All of you here were the best of the best on those forums. They lost alot of good people. I think you nailed it, Jasn, it's all about the revenue. GN, I think you have a good point, too.

Hey, GN, I was in California this past Feb. I wanted to get in touch with you, but of course, I know now that you were banned already. Anyway, I'll be out there again in Feb. 09 and will be staying with friends in Berkeley, so maybe we can meet for coffee or such.

But to continue - these are the kinds of things that can really hurt people. What is it about corporations that they care so little for the well-being of humans, animals and plants? It must bring out the worst in people.

Jasn, I think you've created a terrific website here and I'm SO glad you started it up. I was hoping something like this would happen and it did.
I commend you (and the rest of you as well) for creating a Forum that is fun, with lots of gentle, friendly teasing, amongst reasonable, intelligent,, sex-positive people. Oh and non-judgmental, too.

You folks are the best. I think we should have a yearly party or something, I'd love to meet all of you. We could have an east coast one and a west coast one and that's just one idea. I know we'd all have way too much fun.

What are you talking about? The T&C, just like regular laws, only applies when it serves someone's purpose. Even if you follow the T&C to the letter, it's clear you can get the boot just because somebody has marked you. You of all people should know that...

The funny thing is that I didn't do one thing that was against the T&C. I didn't even post anything in the forum for the last week or so.
Here's what happened:

I got an email from a mod who's first name is Johnny and last name is slang for a Canadian. I was half-asleep at the time, so I asked him to email me. He had asked what the new forum was. I didn't tell him, I just asked me to email me. I'm sure it was a set-up because he would have had NO WAY of knowing I had found a new forum unless he had read my U2U's. What bastards!

I do not think it will last- but here is why. First my Hollywood experience and connections- and knowing they have a deal with William Morris Agency- I will not name the agent brokering the deal- so don't ask. Second, my nephew is the CEO of Digg.com.

If they ban me for inviting my friends and respected contributors here from ATS- I bring a hammer down on those motherfuckers so fast they will wish they never heard the word Internet!

As calmness emanates from within and surrounds me- I will say they will strangle themselves with their arrogance and extreme stupidity. I have spoke to one of the site owners as well as a contact at the talent agency-

These guys are so fucking far out of their league it isn't even funny. Their attorney is one of the dumbest motherfuckers in the business and he is being played like a cheap violin.

I highly recommend that the members here, lock your stories and be very careful of the original content you provide because ATS is stealing from this site and many others.

So if you post one of your shorties... Do not be surprised if it becomes a movie of the week written by...You guessed it a William Morris Agency writer! Whoo hooo!

And get a clue because agents share content. They will filter and co-package with other agencies.

Agents are lower than prehistoric frog shit at the bottom of a New Jersey scum swamp!

But never underestimate them because they are so fucking smart it hurts!

This is why I use other artists content right now to express things. Its only because when I make some videos- watch the fuck out!

That said- Be very careful. And yes much money was filtered to ATS via subsidiaries (investors) linked to Philip Anschutz- just to name one! Lots of Christian money- but there is money from others. ATS doesn't have a fucking clue and this is obvious because they are revealing their stupidity through censorship and banning.

Apparently niteboy82 banned me already. I happened across while doing research for a thread on ATS. I found it to be a pretty cool site. People advertise sites all the time. I am a member of several. Its called word of mouth.

Springer knows about me. I would have a conversation with him. Let's just say I am now quite furious- I believe you know what is going on. But that's okay. I would concentrate on just who DK3000 is and what he can and will do. Directing internet traffic is not a crime and nor is it a bad thing.

You never know who is lurking about on the net.. You guys are pissing everybody off these days with your games and "innocent" sounding what is going on. I had a bed feeling- and I expressed it to a few mods and staff.

You guys really should not have #ed with me. That was an enormous mistake which will become quite clear very soon.

I didn't even violate any of the T&C's. When Johnny Canuck asked me where the new website was located, I just told him to email me, that I didn't want to discuss it on ATS. There was NO way he could have asked that question unless he read my U2U's.

I do have a feeling that their actions will catch up with them, and sooner rather than later. Dimensional Detective posted some really great threads and AFAIK, was always polite. Why ban someone who adds good content to the site and is well-behaved?
What idiots, I have to agree with you, DK. Anyway, keep us posted, this does sound like it will become quite interesting.

I copied and pasted the u2u's from Skeptikoverlord because I want everyone who reads this forum to know the truth- and not a DK3000 dramatic interpretation or an ATS claiming ignorance interpretation.

I will admit I was pretty pissed off yesterday- I generally get banned because of my temper or my foul mouth and/or off color jokes. I have never been banned for letting someone know about another website!!

You know- ATS supports Rense.com and prision planet.com both of these sites are membership sites!!!!!! I do not cater to teeny boppers and children. I am an adult. I do not wish to lay my trips and experiences on younger people who are not ready to deal with the ugliness of this world. I do not believe in Santa Clause or the Easter Bunny and nor would I want to perpetuate this fraud to children. If I wanted to communicate with with children and lay my trips on them I would have fucked a chick and created my own private army. I should wear a t-shirt which says "No One Under 18 Will be Admitted" and I have no problem with this disclaimer.

ATS has sold out and become a disinformation site and that's the truth. Had I been on ATS long enough I would have known this. I had several problems and suspicions with the whole gang up thing, then after posting my "Apparently I am not very popular" thread, several people posted comments which were very supportive and I stayed.

I got this horrible feeling one day while on ATS and I left the site yet again. I should always go with this feeling and the feeling of being compelled to come back was also very interesting- had I not come back- I would not have come to amkon. Thanks to goos- I am here.

I just hope that ATS'ers find us here- read the Ugly truth about ATS and bring their brilliance here where we can carry on conversations which are real and not censored.

What really makes no sense is anyone can google "bestiality pics" or "incest pics" or any combination of adult pics and be immediately transported to galleries of graphic photos and porn.

Any website who claims that "inappropriate" content will lead to banning or editing is censored for "family moral values"- this means it is Christian based investors now and this is how THEY will gain control of the net. The corporate tigers have billions of dollars and even the most reluctant whore will eventually succumb to the fragrance of cash. If the smells of crisp new bills doesn't entice you, then its fame, favor and/or anything else they have in their arsenal (which is pretty much everything...except integrity).

I do not fault the ATS staff and administration for selling out. I fault them for remaining on board pretending they didn't and using the member trust which they earned at some point, but are now using this trust to their new owners advantage.

I personally do not give six shits to Sunday about being banned from any website- its just a fucking website!! It is the underlying and deeply planted seeds of evil which cause my inner light to rebel- this shows in my wanting to protect my fellow truther's- because THEY do not want us to gather... that's their real agenda. In "new speak" it's called civil containment.

ATS sold out for shit money and a low-budget Hollywood promise for fame...basically all the reasons they said they would never sell out for. I liken them to a drug addict who claims he/she will never use a needle... then one day they are sitting in their house with a needle in their arm doing the exact thing they swore they would never do.

So it is with this I say....

FUCK ATS AND THE TWO-LEGGED HORSE THEY RAN OUT FROM!!!!!

PS- I hope that Amkon will not allow anyone under 18 into this site because censoring content to correct this is unconstitutional and it silences voices which have a right to be heard... not to mention the fact that adults have been doing time on planet Earth a hell of a lot longer than prepubescent kiddies and peach-fuzz sporting high schoolers.

These youngster do not need to be protected from us- they need to stay the fuck off our website- regardless whether or not they have permission from their "parents".

Heretofor, I highly recommend that all field trips to Amkon be canceled permanently as this is not an amusement park for the wittle ones.

That, in a nutshell, is why I am so disgusted by the whole thing. I really put a lot into that site, thinking that atheists could speak as freely as xians. I really resent that a couple of my posts and threads about how much I love ATS will be there despite the fact I've been banned and don't feel that way any more.

The entire situation is just sad. And the icing on the cake is that staffers and/or amigos from over there are using anonymous proxies and shadow puppet accounts to read everything we say over here. Irony: even if Bill or Mark opened an account here to hash this out, they would be welcome. They might get some flack from some of us, but that's the name of the game.

They won't, though. they don't have the balls to talk to us face to face about their choices and justify their actions.

So many first time posters waffling crap it became obvious to me that the site was hijacked by goons.Every day,24/7,muddying the waters.
A targeted cyber operation maybe?
Used to love the place,but when I found out about the Banning frenzy on top members who had contributed so much I was well pleased to find out about AmKon where all "the banned" have met up again.

I can well do without the other place the way it is these days.

Well now that I'm an outcast I can expose another secret.

I and another ATS forum member both experienced a hacking event, shortly after a strange situation that occurred between us on ATS back in about November.

I followed a link that he had just posted on a thread to a site that tracks military assets, carrier groups, that sort of thing. During the brief time I was at the linked site and the time it took for me to compose my subsequent response, the link disappeared from his post without a trace.

No text indication that anyone had edited the post, nothing, the link was just suddenly gone. I sent him a u2u to point out the oddity of the missing link.

Now, at the time this took place, I was in the habit of leaving the computer on, connected to the internet, unattended overnight, trusting my security software/firewall to block any attacks.

Yeah, I know... :roll:

When I got back on the next morning, I discovered a second connection had been opened, in essence, making an end run around my protected connection.

Kinda freaked me out, ya know?

There was nothing sensitive or damning on my computer, except maybe some of the bookmarks to sites espousing alternative political viewpoints, I'm not a pr0n fan nor an activist for violent overthrow of the government or anything like that.

I did a clean wipe and reloaded everything and established better defenses.

When he got around to replying to my u2u I discovered that the very same night my computer had been compromised, his had been hacked as well and his entire hard-drive copied twice!

I didn't have an opportunity to ask him how he was able to determine this but he was understandably freaked out by this.

One can only speculate as to what he had on his hard-drive, but shortly after that he stopped posting, and hasn't been back since.

So far as I know, he and I are the only ones who knew about his posting of that link, that, and the person who secretly deleted it.

I've suspected since the time of those odd events that ATS was compromised, but until I was presented with this new (to me) evidence, it hadn't occurred to me that the entire site could be COINTEL.

But, in light of what I now know, and my having been banned with no warning yesterday, and the fact that: "yes much money was filtered to ATS via subsidiaries (investors) linked to Philip Anschutz- just to name one! Lots of Christian money- but there is money from others."

I have little reason now to not believe this to be true:
The entire site is a scam, a walled garden to trap, identify and monitor free thinkers and potential targets.

And to make a lot of money for the backers at the same time.

BTW, I was banned shortly after using the ATS member search to look up the status of two of the members mentioned in the blog* as having been suspected of being disinfo agents, who, oddly enough, stopped posting about the same time the blog entry was published.

Coincidence?

But now I can tell you who wrote that email because his involvement with ATS is now on the record: it was Wayne Jaeschke of Morrison & Foerster LLP in McLean VA.

I don't think that there is a method to their madness. If there ever was, it is gone now. I have bitched and complained and ranted and anti-christian-ed and they haven't banned me. As a matter of fact, my last 3 years there have gone un-noticed, oh wait, because I don't post much, because people a ass-goblins.

One of my main issues besides all of the issues here that I didn't know of it that they are way....and I mean WAY to fucking serious. And fuck when they put those stupid little header at the top of each sub-topic . . .they read like I am not supposed to disagree with anything posted.

We have said on NUMEROUS occasions in threads that I know are being read, and in the shoutbox, which is completely public, that anyone from ATS is welcome to come join here and be a member. We will ask questions, they can answer or not. We may rant. So what?

There have been no attempts to resolve anything, except when Djarums came over for a while, and when a few of us got bristly about what felt very much like ATS style moderating coming from another member, he left.

SO and Springer have only lurked so far as I know.

How amusing that they term it "issues that need to be resolved."

How do you intend to do that, Bill & Mark, without being honest and open about your motives and actions?

I'm on my way to being banned, I think. I was defending John Lear's right to be fairly treated in a new thread about his project camelot interview, and I was defending his views against the views of some other very vocal groups on that site.... and I got a stern warning from Sauron, saying I was off-topic, followed by a personal email from springer saying my post was ill-mannered. I'm sorry if defending a person's rights to be fairly respected is ill-mannered, and that the religious propaganda being thrusted upon people who just better shut up and take it ISN'T ill mannered, but man.... the truth really hits you hard when you are fighting the good fight in a place where you think is with you in that fight... only to find out that they are against you...

It makes me feel a little less crazy, but a little more... worried. This isn't a game we're dealing with. Nor is it a hobby, a fantasy, an RPG... something is very real, and very wrong.

Defend this site's honesty at all cost, Jasn. We may not have it much longer.

By the way, people seemed to agree with what I was saying before it got nixed by the staff. Three stars in a matter of less than an hour. Wow, my ego has been stroked. Thanks, ego stroking stats. It's kind of like a small version of capitalism.

We've made no excuses about the fact that ATS isn't for everyone. In fact, I'm certain that those who can express themselves with content of value and remain within our Terms & Conditions are in the minority. Hey GN, was just over there at Sohai and your post hasn't been posted yet. And here's something strange: I tried to register there and it said that no new accounts will be accepted for the next several hours. Meanwhile, the ATS issues thread is really jumping. Maybe they're panicked and holding an emergency meeting?

A few weeks ago, it was entirely down for several hours with a notice that said "Due to inappropriate forum activity we are shut down until tomorrow a.m." or something similar. This was posted on an evening and they came back up several hours later.

But, it would seem that they are pretty panicked or something, because they actually shut down operations in order to deal with all of the truth coming out now.

I wasn't aware that was a violation of T&C and I thought it wasn't a popularity contest.

It's bullshit. I made the fundies cry and they couldn't stick by their stance that anyone is welcome to post on any subject as long as it stays in the T&C.

It's probably why none of them that come over here will deign to answer my valid questions; they have no good answers for them, so they just ignore me. Nice tactic, eh? Can't handle the debate, so ban and ignore the one who makes too much sense.

People are always banned for clear violations of our Terms & Conditions. Or, for issues related to the very-last paragraph of the T&C:

1) Someone who's constantly posting disruptive 1-liners or off-topic posts in threads, even after being asked not to. It's not really a T&C violation, but it's a disruptive tactic.

2) Someone for whom we get an inordinate amount of member complaints, but perhaps each complaint is "borderline." This requires an unfair situation where our staff is so occupied with this particular member, the rest of the site doesn't get the appropriate attention.

3) Someone who is repeatedly posting intense ATS criticism, even after their posts have been addressed.

Well, it still doesn't explain why I was given the boot. Was it because of my constant complaining about your stars system, Bill? (even though I also suggested methods to improve it) -- which you had responded to before, in a strange manner by telling mojo over there about RATS (huh? wtf does that have to do with the value of the stars). Coz that was basically the last 'gripe' I had before I got teh ban. Anyone is free to check my post history over there to verify this.

That's my first conspiracy theory.

My second conspiracy theory also involves the stars system. I made a thread over there titled "Questioning the stars" (look it up). While Mark gave an adequate response, the idea remained in my head that the stars system could be used as a rich source of data for profiling individuals. Not necessarily by Bill and company, but it's still possible. Maybe they really have been infiltrated. I think I posted that opinion here, not there.

Conjecture. But I don't have much info to go on. Could've stopped me from speculating by being forthcoming and telling me why exactly I was kicked out, like I have asked for a little over a month now.

Third conspiracy theory is really simple. You guys really hate GN and Jasn. And by extension anyone who is affiliated with this site. Would explain other people's mysterious bannings and/or login failures.

Hey, so long as there is no closure, I'm free to speculate based on whatever info I currently have. In fact, this lack of closure is probably the reason other people who got banned come up with wild ideas about you folks. Perhaps you will take this as a learning experience and adjust your policy so that people get that much needed closure.

You should also learn to differentiate constructive criticism and pure bitching. Pre-ban it was all constructive criticism. If it wasn't I wouldn't have bothered posting long and proper replies that also contains suggestions for improvement.

The site has really gone downhill, though. Almost everyone is a newbie and there aren't very many of the older posters still around, many of them were banned.

Here's an interesting event: I signed up under another name and later on, I posted about the banning of people for no reason. In that same post, I also said let's see how long it takes for them to ban me. I further said that if you see the word "banned" under my name in future, you would know what happened to me. Their response? They post-banned me, meaning I can't comment or use the U2U, but it DOESN'T say "banned" under my name. Clever little fuckers aren't they?

That's OK, I went and signed up again, just to keep tabs on what is going on and because I'd love to know what this crap is all about.

Although a drunk might make the bar a few dollars cf. others, if he scares away the many, not good business overall.

Not that I'm saying GN is analagous to this drunk (just the easiest example), just that they make such judgments based on a business model. Thus, if several frantic fundies consistently whinge, then the poster can be ejected from the party.

Needs of the many ($$$) outweigh the few, no matter whether they are really problematic regarding T&Cs (I know of many who are consistent and obvious T&C outlaws, yet still survive).

And they see other sites as a threat to the business model. Hence all the firefighting - image is important to any serious business. And with investors, no free lunch.

My opinion, of course.

Normally we don't discuss bannings, but given recent events in our 9/11 Conspiracies forum, it seems appropriate to be open about this one.

This is unfortunate since, until recently, it has often been a benefit for our membership to have direct access to one of the early pioneers of vocal 9/11 conspiracy speculation.

Also, in what may be a first for us, off-ATS content and activity factored heavily in our decision to ban him. Many members may feel his on-ATS actions are cause for banning, but that's not where we focused our decision.

If you've been paying attention to this (9/11) forum, we appear to have become one of many "battle grounds" (as one member put it) in an escalating war of attention-seeking among competing "9/11 Truth" groups.

Killtown was exploiting the critical nature of ATS members by posting controversial theories here, participating minimally in responding to the critical discussion, then discussing his being "attacked" or "censored" on ATS via postings on other safe harbor websites. It appears as though we were being used as a means to build some kind of macho credibility that involved a series of false and insulting accusations directed toward ATS and our members that included "censorship," members as "shills," and everyone "aiding the perps."

Certainly, this is not the first nor the last bit of insulting criticism of ATS by conspiracy extremists. Typically, we've ignored it in favor of focusing on running ATS the way we feel is best for our members (must be working, we have lots of members & traffic). However, in this case, we saw the need to end what was becoming an escalation of abusive exploitation of fair and logical questions from our critical members.

I want to add that this action in no way implies any desire to place limits of any kind on the topics that can be discussed in our 9/11 Conspiracies or other forums. Open and honest dialogue on any topic within the boundaries of our Terms & Conditions is what we have stood for, what we stand for now, and always will. Undoubtedly we'll see a cascade of off-site criticism and insulting rhetoric over this action... so be it. We stand by it as the proper choice in the best interests of our members and the flow of productive and civil discussion.

Hmm, I've never heard of ATS doing a public banning of a member and this public banning of me was supposedly a "rare" one, so I guess that means they've done this before (I'd be surprised if they actually did). Me thinks they purposely choose to hang me in front of everyone for political reasons.

Now I don't know about you, but doesn't publicly lynching a member at a conspiracy forum that's supposed to be about "finding the truth" like they just did to me and trying to "make an example out of him" (i.e. embarrass them) seem a tad unprofessional and ironic? I can't help but chuckle when I read ATS's mantra.

Back to the accusations against me, the first thing you'll notice is that "SkepticOverlord" failed to include any evidence to prove all his accusations against me. I guess you'll just have to take his word. The sad thing is, many ATS members have done just that (read the entire thread). Here's my favorite:

So since in America we are "innocent until proven guilty" (at least I hope we still are), I don't need to defend myself from SkepticOverlord's accusations against me. He needs to prove his allegations against me. Otherwise his accusations against me are nothing more than slander.

A couple members there voiced concern on that thread about my banning which I'm greatful for. I hope somebody there asks SkepticOverlord to prove his accusations against me though.

But if you want to see if I was the "bad guy" in all this, here is the main thread of mine that it is in my opinion called most of the ruckus against me:

You'll notice that I get attacked first and some members there try to derail the topic. Here's my favorite attack (and notice this member didn't get banned):

You'll then notice that the thread was locked by the same mod who attacked me in that very thread. If you see posts by me that looked like I had attacked someone are was being rude to them, look at their post(s) that I was replying to and you can make up your own mind if I was justified with my responses.

I do admit I don't take being attacked well. If you punch me for no justifiable reason, I will punch you back and I might even kick you when you're on the ground to teach you a lesson for punching me in the first place without just reason. Also, I get attacked by posters all the time on forums and most of the forum admins don't do anything about these attackers, so I'm usually forced to retaliate and defend myself. Yeah yeah yeah, I should just "ignore them" if they are attacking me. Hey, I have my faults.

My Observations about ATS. I'm hoping I'm wrong but here they are anyway.

In other words, which ever way the wind blows on that board on any given issue,
ATS follows.

And why is that? Popular opinion brings on new registrants and this in turn.. well,
I don't think I need to explain that part of it but the bottom line is ...

ATS sticks with the majority opinion on any given topic to keep those members who
are expressing the majority opinion there at ATS because there are MORE of them than
those who are expressing an opposite or alternative view from the majority. Duh.

Case in point. JRitzman actually debunked the so-called authentic O'Hare UFO photo
but when Springer came into that thread and said that it could be authentic,
JRitzman did a complete turn-around and then went into extensive detail on
why that photo was legitimate. My jaw nearly fell to the floor when that happened
and this was the first red flag that something really
fishy was going on at that forum.

Here it goes
I was a normal member, didn't do much out of line.. pissed of a few mods but i was basically under there radar while the "serpo" thing was going on
Then one day A member i respected alot on Sohai called "Picklewalsh" , some of you may remember him
He made his own board quite like this one, they banned him for posting threads in that board that were posts in Sohai ,I.E. some thread about Iran, he made a thread about it on his site
So like the hypocritical bastards they are, they banned him for "plagiarism"
To add insult to injury they went against one of there corner stone "T&C" rules by making the banning public , Bill made a thread about it and tried to spin it that he (picklewalsh) was badmouthing Sohai on his own site
I caused uproar
One of the very rare times something on the Internet has made me angry , i flipped out on the thread and started comparing Sohai to a facist company ,
The mods didn't like this . not at all .. i was "blacklisted"...i will get to blacklisting later
From that day on they were looking for a reason to ban me, they banned me from chat,post banned me
Then i worked a deal with a Super mod on Sohai to let me back into chat i got back in, i tried to slip under the radar again
Then (yes i admit i was my own undoing) i went on one night drunk and made some very un-PC jokes, definitely not banable but they banned me anyways
So i was banned, but i saw it coming so a few weeks earlier i had signed up a different account with a different email
Eventuality they found out that was me, banned me..again and again it happend then one day i went "fuck it"
By chance i ran into an Sohai member (no names no law-suits :P ) i was helping with a site some PS work i was doing, and thru him i met a former Sohai super mod who shall remain nameless , but he stepped out of line with Sohai so they did the password switcharo with him and since then hes had a grudge against them
He showed me a Screen shot of the mod-only forum on Sohai , most normal threads like, "further ways to advance Sohai" //"Update on the points systems needed" ..but there were a few that caught my eye
Threads titled "Sock puppets , you have been warned " and " Blacklisted Members" 12+ pages

I asked the Former mod what these threads were and he said the sock puppets one went into detail about how SOhai's Bitch and Bill knew some of the mods used sock puppets and were warning if the mods that used sock puppets didn't stop, there account would be terminated

The 2nd , he explained was a thread listing members to "keep an eye out for" really , look for an excuse to ban them

So i got this picture, i went onto Sohai with one of the accounts they did not know, or at least cared that i had and made a thread in the "board and business" fourm , within seconds. really seconds all the text had been changed to all-caps , picture removed and moved into the news fourm to make look like a troll , then they did a password switcharo with that account,
Later bill relised it was me , i made a new account under "Disgustipated" and made it public who i was,
I was about to be banned again, but i made a deal with them, to keep my mouth shut about this and they leave me alone,
Lol, in one instant MM, kicked me from Chat by accident and was shiting his pants in case he pissed me off,
i never told anyone, besides chiiru i think, of the power i wielded at that site (sorry to boast) but then, i suppose SOhai's Bitch, like the dick he his banned me for posting my Amsterdam holiday pictures

THIS... is the exact nature of the passive controls i'm speaking of.

This is the main reason i asked for a post ban, the blatant hypocrisy of the site and their corporate ideology.
"Deny Ignorance" and the constant reinforcement of ATS concerns for privacy and freedom of speech. Yet somehow amongst that propoganda i became aware of numerous instances of members getting banned for sharing links to each other via u2u. Not to mention the concerns ive since reached regarding their employment of a pretty suspicious privacy watchdog since.

Question: What does U2U stand for.
Answer: user to user.
That implies specific privacy imho.

The next instance that sold their hypocrisy to me was the frequent banning of people who joined this site and were still members of ATS at the time, it smacked of childish jealousy and punishment.

And then worse yet were the threats of legal action and retribution jasn and i received, typical schoolyard bully tactics, im sure at the time they thought they were dealing with basement geeks and not a couple of streetssmart dudes who dont give a fuck for that sort of shit.

For all of the experience Bill and Mark claim to have regarding internet communities it amazes me constantly that they cant see the forest for the trees (or the pixels for the database).

Perhaps the fact that I was pointing out Bill's propaganda/passive control tactics as he was using them on his members might have something more to do with it...
