Yeah i only ever gave out the link in emails to those that asked, i figured u2u's would set off alarms.

it's really not a huge deal...they don't want me around thats cool. i have this place and other forums that i visit....
i'm not gonna use proxy's and that shit just to get on their site to lurk....thats about all i did anyway was lurk.

Just for the irony, I was surfing Boondock banned BTS and came up with a quote from hellmutt:

I think I'm so outraged about this U2U reading business because I really fell for that "we're one big happy family, we don't allow trolls but we do allow for all opinions, unedited" crap they spout over there.
Hey, lurkers from ATS: Did you not realize that your doing this sneaky outrageous behavior, such as reading members' U2Us, that you're actually causing the very problems you think that behavior solves? Namely, stopping the hemorrhaging of membership from your site to ours? Your crack down is having the opposite effect.
And for the record for people here, I had it on good authority from a mod and someone connected to administration over there that they DO routinely read U2Us if they are suspicious about someone's activity. I was told on more than one occasion that if I had anything really sensitive to discuss it should be done via email, and not U2U.
They also read the chat logs routinely.

You have to copy and paste it into the browser window. That's the only way to read them, for whatever reason, you can't directly link through to ATS by clicking provided links.

They've got filters to block direct links from here and they've got "filters" to ban anyone who direct links back to here from there.
It's difficult to believe that a commercial forum that touts "deny ignorance" so religiously would be so adamant about denying the truth.
Wait....it's not that difficult to believe after all...the truth to them is in the money...
