Get a Physio to have a look at it... Dr are crap with backs, they'll have you up for an MRI and all sorts of expensive crap.

I popped a disc last year, they had me lined up for an op! 6 weeks of physio and I was right as rain.

Tennis ball, floor.

Lie on the floor, put the tennis ball under the worst sore muscles and you can vary pressure by moving your arm or lifting your hips.

It's not as nice as a deep tissue massage, but it does the trick.

My old deep tissue guy told me that trick. It's saved my back from spasm I don't know how many times.

Has to be tennis balls, though. They have the right combination of firmness and give.
