Here you'll find a few examples of my work.

First up: Digital Stuff

Co-Op Magazine Logo

Pitched for a prospective arts magazine in the Bay Area, my agent pulled the plug when the promoter turned out to be a flake.

Ah well; I got to play in LightWave 3D (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LightWave) and Photoshop.

Informatica Trade Show Presentation Clock

100% Adobe Illustrator.

The hands were separate pieces that could be set to whatever time the client desired.

The folks at Informatica dug the design; they ordered a bunch of these.

M-Systems Trade Show Panel

The client provided the low rez image of the web TV box with a puke-colored highlight.

They needed the highlight redone to a more pleasing color and a background and text added.

The background and shadows were generated using Photoshop, the text and final compositing were done using Illustrator.

Student Competition Entry

The title text, droid, Donald Duck's car and background "ring" explosion were all rendered in LightWave 3D with final compositing and text generated using Photoshop.

Couldn't get the damn thing to print correctly on the school system - I think it was sabotaged - and it still took second place with out-of-whack colors.

Party Invitation

This was something I threw together for my nieces' combined birthday/Halloween party a few years back.

Just an exercise in typography, I laid in the text and map and stuff using Illustrator so we could output it on the pre-printed witch/ghost stationary using the home ink jet.

This particular image is the one I took into Photoshop to work up a personal invite by email to my pal Wendy.

Kickin' Jack

This was done as a tee-shirt graphic for a convention of McD's managers held in Las Vegas.

Commissioned by the Bay Area regional manager, for his Bay Area McDonald's Managers (BAMM, get it?) team, he liked the design so well he had it printed on fine stock and mounted under plexi for display in his office.

He said the tee-shirts were the envy of the convention.

Roadside "Apple Crate" Signage

This was commissioned to emulate an old time apple crate graphic for use in conjunction with roadside directional signs.

Illustrator/Photoshop composite.

Pro Wrestling Iron Video Box Graphic

Produced in conjunction with a commission for opening, segue and flying title animations for the first generation of videos by this organization.

On the final packaging there was to be a "lens flare" laid in over the "hot spot" at the base of the "R" and "O."

Modeled, surfaced, lit and rendered using LightWave 3D, with support from Illustrator and Photoshop.

Thanks Steve-o!

You've got talent, dude, all you need to do is learn the software, which can be costly I know, (boy, do I know!) but once you've got the programs all you need are some books/DVDs and practice.

Taking classes just makes the process faster and way more expensive.

Wish I'd done more with my drawing skills...

If I find my old scans I'll post those up here too.

And thanks to you too, mojo.

You have my heart felt condolences, those artistic types can be a real pain in the ass.

Wait....maybe I'm thinking of the clients....:D
