Here are the entry's to AmKon's first writing contest. :)

It would be nice if all members could please take the time to read and vote for your favorite story.

I was initially going to narrow it down to three entry's for the final voting but that was too bloody hard so i'm going to leave it up to the members to decide which of the five is your favorite.

I'll leave the voting open for a week so that everyone will have the time to read through all the story's if you haven't already done so.

Writers can vote for their own story or someone else's if they like.

1st prize will be the same prize put up by Jasn for the "Name That Song" contest, the DVD for "No Country For Old Men".

Great job by everyone who submitted a story, and i really wasn't taking the easy way out by not narrowing it down to 3 entry's for the voting, i think they are all worthy of being in the mix. Each one was unique and well written and i thoroughly enjoyed reading all of them, so well done guy's and gal's.

I honestly voted on the story that has some sort of "connection" to what I've been through in life ........... and not 'cause I LOVE the person ......... so I voted on VQ's story . :)

So instead of having this drag on for another week with another round of voting, and after trying to re-read the story's (Firestar it seems has deleted her story?) i have decided on a winner from the 3 tied submissions. Well 2 now.

LOL I know it does seem that way, but he's swears he had nothing to do with it. There's all kinds of reasons people vote for stories, the people here just happened to relate to mine. I think that Firestar really should have won, but she dropped out so blame it on her. (j/k)

And don't let this keep you from writing more, your story was very good.

Nah, I know it needed tons of work, but that's what I came up with. I could have taken longer and made it flow a bit better. My thoughts just come out all jumbled and when I don't take my time on things, that's what comes out.

I will write more, I just need better inspiration. Plus, poetry is easier for me.

btw Titan, i'm notorious for rushing my stories too, it's taken me a long time to hold off on posting immediately when i finish.
I go back and read them at least a dozen times before i post em now.
