My stepdad used to do model airplanes. He'd spend weeks putting them together, carving the balsa, applying the skin and resin coats, painting and decaling them, then go out on the weekend and crash the fucking things. :lol:

well its good i pulled it down for a service + full cleanup, the rear diff was almost about to let go.
not bad considering ive never touched it since i got the truck new 2 years ago.

now i can replace a $10 plastic part before it fails instead of a $10 part with $30 worth of munched gears inside.

got the rear re-assembled, now im almost finished doing the front and its 1.30AM.
been about 4 hours so far. (phew, what a job)

more ice coffee, and a sesh out the back in the cool air and ill be good to "git-R-dun" very soon hopefully..well most of it anyway.


GN - planes are pretty good, some of them now do 100mph out the box, made of foam and only cost $370au (about 250-300 USD)

Hubbys got a few rc cars. I know one was like $500 and the things not working now. It's sitting ina tub in the shed. There was 3 at one time, not sure if he has the other 2 still. The kids really liked it when he would race them outfront.
