Made scrambled eggs and bacon but my 6 yr old ate his half and them most of mine, so I'm toasting a bagel. He wont eat that LOL

We just took everything out of our shed,went through it and then put what we wanted to keep back. 5 hours, so we worked up some hunger. Kids got to pick where we went. Carls Jr. it was. I got their #1 no onions & extra pickles with a coke. Mmmmm

mm, after reading this thread im going to fry up some more bacon till its all crispy, and maybe throw it between some french toast.
well my version of french toast anyway, basically a bit of bread used to soak up a beaten egg, then fried up.
probably wash it down with yet another swig from this delicious full cream milk jug since im outta ice coffee.
or maybe a can of coke. i havent decided ;)

As for me ... I meant to post this yesterday but got side tracked by the huge number of posts that showed up. Yay! No more wasteland of quietude.
So I went grocery shopping after I dropped the kids off with He Who Shall Not Be Named and when I went down the pasta aisle, I had a sudden and overwhelming urge for tacos.
Since I rarely cook from scratch for myself, this was quite an anomaly.
So I stocked up on LaVictoria red taco sauce (medium) and Ortega shells, got my meats and a bag of salad and went straight home and made tacos. For breakfast. At 9:00 a.m.
And then I promptly scorched the four shells I made, which turned out to be two too many for an early meal. But I ate them anyway because I wanted tacos and couldn't wait to heat more shells.
Now the tacos are calling me .. there is so much left in there ... I wonder if I can get boychild to try it? Heh. I'd love to see the look on his face at his first experience of hot taco sauce.
But now I want ostrich. I wonder what time Whole Foods opens? Hmmm ...

I'm eating a local snack called kacang tumbuk. Literally means "crushed peanuts". It's basically peanuts smashed into a powdery form that has been binded together into a bite-sized brick with molasses/honey.
So fattening, so delicious.
But the one I'm having is a plain one. I prefer the Iranian version... it's got cashewnuts and pistachios along with a sprinkling of sesame seed.

Yesterday, on the way home from work, I ordered a fish taco and a bacon double del from the nearest Del Taco franchise.
The fish taco roxered but they fucked up and left the bacon off the del, so I called 'em up and arranged to stop by this morning to let 'em make it good.
And boy did they!
Juicy hot and fresh...and the burger wasn't bad either.
