Goddammit!!


I just finished watching the GARBAGE that is "The Eye".


As any of you who have seen the original Japanese version know, it is a KICKASS movie based around an awesome (and original) premise.


However, just spending almost two hours of my time watching Hollywood's remake of it has damn near RUINED the original for me.


First off, am I the ONLY ONE that sees that Jessica Alba couldn't act her way out of a fucking box???????

FUCK YOU HOLLYWOOD!

Start choosing your actors based on fucking TALENT instead of them weighing 90 lbs and their having some 15 year old guys drooling all over them!!

Secondly, GREY FUCKING BLOBS THAT SCREAM ARE NOT FUCKING SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Hell, the creepiest part of the movie is the little cancer patient...........and yes, that's fucking TERRIBLE.




You fuckers in Hollywood do just fine making the same crap over and over and over again............if you can't put out some decent fucking flicks, TOUGH SHIT!!!

Maybe you need to rethink your fucking game plan.


But PLEASE leave fucking great movies alone and quit fucking trying to remake them.



When they remake "The Warriors", I'm gonna fucking boycott the theater.

Western directors don't know how to make scary ghost movies. It's always not scary and more of a "shock-factor" saturated flick.

Psychological horror, in the United States, is dead.


The Grudge remake is a prime example. Nothing BUT shock scares. Hell, those weren't even scary.

Yup -- if you want a good horror flick these days, you have to watch a Japanese or Korean flick. End of story.

Try watching Thai or Indonesian horror flicks as well. Pretty scary, even though they've got a much lower budget.

Don't bother with Malaysian flicks (of any kind). We fail miserably at the arts (that includes music). Okay, maybe that an exaggeration. But it's close to 90% bad. We'll produce something good about once every 5-planet alignment.

the only exception I can think of is the ring. The americanized version was spooky, while the Japanese version (original) was laughable. After that, though I refuse to touch anything I know to be a remake of a J-Horror film.

(even though the Eye is Cantonese...)
