Long story with that one: I was having to walk about a mile through the hood because I'd missed a bus and every couple of blocks some out of work hustler crack dealing fuckwit would ask me if he could have my number or if he could "talk to me."

It was really pissing me off. A woman can't walk down the street without a bunch of horny idiots with no prospects bugging her for sex -- because that's all they really wanted.

When I got to my art class that day, I painted it out.

My ex keeps telling people it's because I'm frigid that I painted that, even though he knows the real explanation.

But then, he's a fucking idiot, too.

Awwww ...... guess most men see women as "sex objects" ....... but I actually luv'd the painting "Mom" :D . How long does it take for ya to complete one ??

My "style" is to just throw the stuff on paper. So I'll do a painting like that one, 2 x 3 in about an hour, give or take. Sometimes less. I think my record, for one about wanting to vomit my pills, took maybe 25 minutes.

As for my paintings ...... it takes me a few days to complete ......... but I haven't paint'd anything in a while ..... been drawin' most of the time :D .

( Have ya tried workin' on a huge canvas ?? )

Wow ....... I never knew ya were HIV positive ........ one of my older cousins , who's gay , has AIDS and I just hope he continues to live on this world 'cause I just hate it when anyone dies ........ especially a relative or family member  .

( Wow ... I've never had the chance to paint somethin' on a wall :D ....... great job "Mom" :D . )

Thanks, son.

I've had HIV so long, it's just there, like having diabetes or any other chronic disease. My doc says as long as I stay on my meds I can look forward to a normal life span. Of course, stress doesn't help any -- so I'll be glad to not have to deal with my ex anymore.

Anyway, I found some pix of other art in my photobucket account:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Kali_Ma/New%20Stuff%20Fromm%202005%20on/DCAM0005.jpg

These next two are from a phase I went through that involved sculpting styrofoam packing material with heat then painting and decorating it:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Kali_Ma/New%20Stuff%20Fromm%202005%20on/DCAM0010.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Kali_Ma/New%20Stuff%20Fromm%202005%20on/DCAM0009.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Kali_Ma/New%20Stuff%20Fromm%202005%20on/DCAM0008.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Kali_Ma/New%20Stuff%20Fromm%202005%20on/DCAM0007.jpg

and my very favorite medium, Polymer Clay: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polymer_clay)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Kali_Ma/New%20Stuff%20Fromm%202005%20on/DCAM0002.jpg

Every color in that piece is a different color clay -- it has not been painted in any way.

I have a ton of shit, but most of the pix are on slides, which will make it difficult to put up on the web.

General Nuisance.. Those are extreamly good, and if you dont think you can sell those you are cutting yourself short..

I have a few people I know who are into amature artwork..
And by amature I dont mean that your work is not of high standard.

By amature I mean you are not a famous artist well known threw out the world.. However if you wish,, I would love to pass on some of your work to some friends..

I will contact you in a day or so and let you know what they think..

I have sold about 10 of my paintings.. And you are many times better than me!!! And I know they would love your style!!

Honestly.. Your good:)

Well, cool zysin. I have quite a few paintings in my closet. I just wish I had the collages I did -- I think my ex threw them away when we moved.

I really had a flair for collage -- did quite a few excellent political ones.

I finally got the last of my things from storage, including my costume collection. In the box I found something I was missing but had put out of my mind:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Kali_Ma/Z-1/P1010306.jpg

There was a period of about 10 years where I painted jackets for people, both denim and leather. This is a denim vest I did and could never part with. I call it Schroedinger's Cat.

Wow!

Funny, with a rapier wit, and talented!

I'm impressed!

If my pal wetty (motherofsquirrelkiller) ever figures out how to get in here (she tried to use the "Solaris" theme :( ) you guys need to meet!

You two have got a lot in common.

(And she's just down the 880 in San Jose.)

Again, Wow!

Thanks! Coming from an angry cannibalistic clown, that means a lot!

Does anybody else always picture people as their avatar? It makes me giggle.
