AmKon's first member's writing challenge.

The rules of engagement are as follows.

1. No word or character limit, but lets try and keep it to a
reasonable amount, consider the poor judge. :)

2. All members and staff are able to enter up to 2 story's.

3. All story's are to be submitted by midnight on the 1st of April
and the winner announced on the 7th of April.

4. There will be 3 scenario's you can choose from to base your
story around, these are meant only as a rough guide but should
have some relevance in part or whole to your plot.

5. Your story should be submitted as a stand alone thread in the
Member writings forum (http://amkon.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=48). The thread should have the
title of your story followed by (AMWC) in the subjest line so that i
can sticky your story until the completion of the contest.


scenario #1: You or your character are on a train which stops at a
small deserted railway station in the middle of the night, the train
leaves without you while you are stretching your legs and you
decide to explore the town.

scenario #2: You or your character receive a strange message, it
details the exact time and manner of your death in 48 hours. Can
you change destiny! (thanks to boondock for the inspiration for
that scenario).

scenario #3: A love story with a menacing twist, what secret has
your lover kept all these years!



I will judge the best 3 story's submitted then call a member poll to
decide the winner, stay tuned for announcement of prize/s.


Any questions regarding the contest can be posted in this thread.


I will be submitting story's to the contest but they will not be
considered in the judging or the member vote. :)

we are all friends here no matter whether you think you can write
or not, just give it a go and have some fun with it.

Sorry mate, but I burned out on writing fiction a long time ago. Can't even do poetry very often anymore and I used to write REAMS of it.

Try doing a google search for "proxy browser" while you are at work.


I'm sure you can find one that will work from there and successfully bypass the work filters.
