AmKon Contest Numero Uno -- The Banners Boss, the Banners

That's right, your loving admin Jasn is sponsoring a contest for all you bastards. :P


This one is simple enough..............


I am looking for banner designs for future use as an AD banner for AmKon.


The banner should be 468 x 60 (standard). Banner design is entirely up to you.



Each member is allowed 1 official entry.

Please only post your image in this thread if it is the one you choose to enter.


Entries will be accepted until March 13th.




I will personally select my top 7 banners and the membership will them be allowed to vote (via poll) on their favorite of those 7.


So, what does the winner get?



The winner gets an OFFICIAL AmKon Mystery Package that will be delivered to their home. (Yes, I'll ship anywhere on the planet hehe)

I even have PhotoShop elements, which is supposed to be easy for those of us that don't get the original, and I can't use THAT.

Might wanna check out PaintShop Pro if you can find it. (shouldn't be hard)

That's where I got my start.

Was far easier to learn on than photoshop.

Try this: GIMP Portable | PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives (http://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/gimp_portable)

It can run on your USB drive so you can even mess around with it at work.

It's a portable app, so you can install it on your thumbdrive and run it from any other computer so long as you can plug the thing into a USB. I love these portable apps. There's even a portable Firefox mod on that website.
