This must be absolutely the coolest musical instrument ever. I want to play with one!

That would be awesome at live DJ performances! It kind of reminds me of this instrument the DJ Lyfe was using at an Incubus concert I went to. The thing was like an antenna which modulated the sounds coming out of his mixer when he put his hands close to it. The sound also changed depending on how he positioned or shaped his hands.

There was also this other instrument I used to play around with at this DJ studio near where I live. It was a crystal ball with lasers beaming out. When you place your hands or fingers on the ball, the sound modulation changes. Awesome stuff.

Iori, no, the clip I saw on Current said there were only three in existence in the entire world, none commercially available.

I really like unusual instruments like this.
