Ok, so obviously for various reasons we all have different average diets (as in what you eat normally), obviously this can be bad or good depending on what you eat and how often.

So here's the question;
What does your average weekly and/or daily diet consist of and if there is something you don't eat all the time, how often?

My diet, well I'd like to say it's healthy, but in reality I probably do eat more bad things than I really should, though I do eat good, healthy things.

Over the last month or so my diet has'nt been as healthy as it has been, given that I've been drinking like 4-5 liters of soda week and eating a candy bar three days of the week.

I've only eaten fast food twice in the last four months though (just a sausage biscuit from McDonald's), so I guess that's good.

I am going to be going back to eating healthy this Monday though.


Also, I'm leaving out the fact that I only really eat meals once or twice a week out of the equation.

Because i work permanent night shift my diet is a bit all over the place.
I drink a lot of caffeine rich soda's while im at work and energy bars.
but my wife does cook good home cooked meals for me to eat when i get home in the mornings, usually chicken, beef or lamb and lots of vegetables. the only vegetables i dont eat are brussel sprouts, those things are fuckin' nasty. :)
weekends we tend to have a lot of takeaway and a lot of alcohol. :lol:

My diet is crap. I basically live on bologna sandwiches, cheese and bread, and microwave dinners, with the occasional foray to KFC or McD's.

My kids are both terribly picky eaters, and are with their dad for dinner most of the time now. Since I don't have little ones, and I'm overwhelmed with court wars, I don't have the energy or inclination to cook for myself.

If the family was all together, me and the kids, anyway, I'd make more of an effort once they're older -- they eat earlier than I'm hungry right now.

I can see how both those situations lead to less than positive dietary habits.

Now that I think about it, I probably should have waited a week to vote on my own poll, to see if I have enough will power to go back to my healthy diet.

I eat predominately raw, but on my off weeks I do eat a lot of Indian and Thai food. I make a lot of fresh salads on my off weeks too. Not just "salads," but these ridiculous monstrosities. Lettuce, tomato, avocado, carrots, spinach, radish, onions, and maybe some fried tofu, or mashed up garden burger for texture and protein. I usually make a good avocado/cilantro sauce that goes good on everything. I do mix it up a lot, but that is usually my staple.

When I'm out on trail I eat a lot of raw nuts (pervs) like Almonds, cashews, walnuts. I also eat a variety of dried fruits like mangoes, pineapples, apricots, cranberries, blueberries, banana chips, pretty much make up the dried fruits. We also have a lot of dehydrated soups that kick total ass. Split pea, black bean, and curried lentils... So good.

You are what you eat and I always live by the motto "Never does nature say one thing and wisdom another." I stay away from about everything processed except for tofu and garden burgers every now and again. I don't want to pollute my body with bad shit like pharmaceuticals, over the counter medicines, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, or my food.

I've given up most everything I was raised on and I know that if you constantly consume SHIT, you will feel like SHIT. You get out what you put in. I believe that to the fullest.

I'll second the motion that when you eat good foods you feel better than when you eat unhealthy things.

I did'nt use to eat, well I use to be totally unhealthy, but than I changed my diet, felt better than I had in my memory within the first week.
