I learned that my youngest sons school has a fundraising event at the local Chuck E Cheese. Teachers been telling the kids all damn week about it. As I wait outside the door to get him, the door opens and the teacher sees all the parents and goes "Now parents, don't forget it's Chuck E Cheese night tonight. The kids are wearing stickers incase you forget". Uhh wtf how could we forget, you've shoved it down our throats all week.
Now mind you I don't mind helping the school out. I'll donate money, items whatever the teacher needs. Make a list I'll find something I can donate. But let the parents decide if they want to go to Chuck E Cheese. Don't hype the damn kids up and then if they can't go, they don't FREAKING CRY AND WHINE!
We can't go tonight. Was going to, but middle sons school called and he's running 101.9 fever. Now we can't go. Dad's working and I'm not dragging a sick kid to HELL. Thats what I call Chuck E Cheeses. If I was mean, sure I'll let my sick kid go play there and let all the little ones get cooties. But I'm not and now my youngest is pissed off and driving mommy crazy.
I think a chat with the teacher is in order for tomorrow morning.
Ok rant over....whos got Smirnoff's?

For crying out loud. They really should notify parents before telling kids about a big deal like that.

I hope the little guy is over it by now. I know how he can act up when he's peeved.

Well now I know why theres such a BIG hissy fit with him. He's sick too. 101.7 fever. He actually took motrin with chocolate milk. Shocker! Both are in bed and hopefully out for the night.

chuck e cheese is a very good form of birth control. Did you try just hitting the teacher? I mean seriously, this person is that stupid to say that in front of all the kids, and he/she is teaching kids? It is no wonder this country is in such shit. I think you just need to hit this teacher, sometimes physical violence speaks louder then words.
