Driving the kids to school this morning and we see a truck with one of those magnet ribbons on it. Get a closer look at it and it says "Support our firefighters". WTF? I have never heard them ever get anything but support. Who the hell hates a FF? Ok I can think of two groups of people that might dislike FF's. Arsonists and Suicidal people. Other then that, no one hates FF's, shoots at FF's. They dont rush onto a scene unless it's first cleared by PD. FF's are able to drive around with thier cars/trucks decked out in FF stickers, emblems, lisence plates stating their profession. I see guys all over wearing their FF tshirts while they grocery shop etc.

I know, right? The fire fighters in Oakland go to the grocery store in their ladder truck, in a big group, in their uniforms.

I always wonder, did they just come from a fire, are they expecting a fire, or are they just after a discount? :lol:

Nah...I just thought it was retarded to have a ribbon asking for support when thats all they get is support. Greedy fuckers. LMAO!

I want to display a sticker on my car about supporting police officers but I'd like my car intact, nice and working. LOL

I know one thing, I have NEVER seen anyone more proud of making $8.00 an hour (around here) than a firefighter.

They have stickers on their bags, on their vehicles and everywhere else they can get them.
