Hi guys,

All I can say is that Mark and Bill never told me why I was post banned.

I can still log in but rarely do. There is nothing there of any interest to me anymore.

When Bill caught Jeff Ritzmann lying to him I was asked not to say anything which I refused to do.

I worked hard for ATS, I did a lot of radio plugs and spent about 8 to 14 hours posting for about a year. I really enjoyed watching ATS grow although Mark never missed a chance to tell me my contribution was not even 'a blip on the radar screen'. Thats ok. I had fun most of the time.

I admit that I was a little put out when Bill post banned me without asking my side of the issue first. I think he was pretty embarrassed to find out Ritzmann had lied to him and he wanted everybody to keep quiet.

Neither Mark or Bill have any intellectual skills. They are business men. They try not to take sides but that doesn't last very long. They both believe the last .gov that emails them with the best counter story.

The mods are now little more than 'thought police'. I have seen them post the Miss Manners picture at the drop of the hat and continually enforce 'on topic' to the point of the ridiculous.

The last few months were a little tough because I was continually getting hammered by the same guys over the same issues. The number of government sponsored disinformant agents was steadily rising. And I can understand this because ATS now reaches a lot of people. I would post a really classified little tidbit of information and here would come a disinfo agent chompin' at the bit.

The beginning of the end for me was when Bill gave a warning to Sleeper for posting something about 'picking his nose'. I think Bill was sincerely trying to get ATS members ready for a tea party with the Queen.

I am glad to be away from there.

I spent a few days with Mark in San Jose last year and found out what his problem was. I can only wish him the best.

I suspect I know what Bill's problem is and again I can only wish him the best.

If either of them don't know "what goes around comes around" they are about to find out.

change in the quality of posts and posters there. It's sad, because
i do love the place and many of the members.
I think, judging from your responses on Thelivingmoon and the
emails you posted that the biggest mistake they made was not
being totally upfront from the start.

I find it odd that they would even be bothered checking out this
site considering that most of the members here are banned
members and the rest of us are current members who dont raise a

As far as members from ATS joining here are concerned, staff or no, I have no issues.

It's only when I get the feeling that I'm being moderated from the other site on this site that I get put out of sorts.

I personally can't help the way I feel, because I know I didn't violate the T&C at ATS, and there was a bit of misdirection and cover-up in Atheist Chat before it was shut down.

I am left with a bad taste in my mouth, and an unfortunate side effect of an all-out ban such as mine is that I am extremely suspicious of staff from ATS now.

But don't let any of that stop you from joining -- if you want to join this forum, contribute as a member and don't be an ATS apologist. I can deal with people as other members. I cannot deal with being moderated by staff from a site I've been banned from that aren't mods here. That's all I have to say about that.

I think its perfectly reasonable to think that they have lifted the post ban so that it looks like the whole thing is john's fault that he no longer posts there.

Her comment was something to the effect that "arrogance and ignorance was rampant" at ATS.

I told her I thought that they should call the mods over there "TP's" for "Thought Police" because the way it works over there now is that there is an "Authorized Topic" list. It's not published but you can tell if your Topic is not authorized if it disappears soon after it is posted. For instance any discussion of John Lear is not an "Authorized Topic".

Authorized Topics are good for that Topic only and if you stray left or right a picture of Miss Manners will appear with the warning. "We Don't Do That Here". Usually there is no explanation to what was posted or or how it violated the T&C. Its more mysterious that way and tends to keep everybody in line wondering, "What in the heck did I do?"

I am conspiracy minded and I want to know why about all things. I used to look up the members pages and look at those who have been banned, and when you could look up individual posts well it was easy to see why past members were banned.

The one thing that is in common, is there is absolutely no discussion about why a member was banned. To each their own I guess, but to those that are into conspiracies, to suppress this information {regarding the individual post function} is almost too much.

Well I'm certainly not conservative or right wing, so my views will conflict with the ptb eventually, but until then I will post on both site, at least will I can.

Is that thread where about 2 pages of posts got deleted. I stasrted a thread about it and springer said that he had accidently deleted them.

i just accepted it at the time but having read what access denied said about his posts getting deletd im not so sure anymore.

I have also saved just about everything ive ever written and some responses as well as u2u's, not just from there but from just about every site ive ever posted on.

I wasn't logged in and I managed to, no problem.
