Let's see...
5 320GB Seagates,
3 120GB Seagates,
8 unplugged 80GB Seagates.
All Barracuda, only the 320GBs are SATA. Spread between 3 desktops. The 2 Laptops each have 200 GB Seagates on them.

Not quite. Yeah of course there's porn in there, but it doesn't take up the bulk of the space. I fix computers for a living. Sometimes I've got to back-up my clients shit, porn and all. So I need the extra space. That's where the unplugged drives come in.
Then there's the movies I've downloaded, the music videos, concert videos, music albums, live trance/rave performances (which come out weekly), TV series (because national TV censors too much) and all kinds of other crap like programs and games. (FUCK YOU, RIAA, MPAA).
On top of all that, I use a RAID (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID) with my computers. Basically what this means is that I mirror the contents of at least one hard disk with another disk. Makes for a more secure system. It also means that for every GB of data I have, I'm basically using 2GB of space.
Right now most computers have about 50% space remaining. The laptops are still largely empty -- intend to keep it that way.
It's rather inexpensive for me. I get it straight from the manufacturer, which happens to be in my country. Helps to know someone working there, too.
