this is one 'crypto' creature/animal that i have always believed in...for some reason it does not seem that far fetched to me that there is a biped out there that looks like bigfoot.
i mean, we all know about gigantopithicus(sp), or we should....
either way, the pacific northwest where bigfoot is supposed to be chillin at is a perfect spot.
there are thousands and thousands of acres back there.
absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.....that area is a great area for an animal like that to be at....people get back there but how deep.
i believe in it, maybe cause i want it to be true, maybe cause i loved the movie harry and the hendersons....
either way, bigfoot for life yo

I sertinly keep an open mind to all things in this world..
I have never been the type of person to say NO WAY.. Its not possible..
I think the chances of bigfoot being real is very high chance..
I just get a little doubtful about some peoples actions when researching Bigfoot..
Like for instance.. Last night on the Science channle a guy put out some fruit, and then went threw alot of trouble to make a cast of what they thought was a bigfoot laying down on the ground to get some fruit...
Why the hell would you go threw so much trouble to lay fruit out, and be looking for bigfoot foot prints or something to make a cast,
When you could just clearly put up a camera to show what is eating at the fruit..
But no camera.. Only these 700$ dollar casts, that weight 300 lbs each..
My mindis like WTF??? really WTF? Why didnt you spend half that on a good outside camera.. Forget the Cast.. Lets see it on film..
Thats the only thing that escapes me about bigfoot hunters..
Always making casts, and spending tons of money on casts. Helpers to carry casts.. Having people travle to come see your cast.
When clearly a camera would have done the trick...
I dont get that part... They lay the trap.. put all that effort into casting the body.. and foot prints.. But dont bother with a camera.
We have a similar legendary creature here in australia, the Yowie sometimes confused with the bunyip of aboriginal dreamtime myth.

Right every place in the world has its own name for bigfoot..
Here in florida they are called Swamp Apes.. hehe no joke..
I have always pondered what a swamp Ape would look like..
And how they must smell..
I will bet these Bigfoots have one hell of a nose..
and thats how they keep so private..

What trips me out about deniers of bigfoot (as well as many other "phenomena") is when they say...."Well, if this thing is out there, why is there NO evidence after all this time?"
Umm, yea.
Eyewitness reports.
Video.
Audio.
Photographs.
Feet casts.
Local legends dating back so long it's not even funny.
I really wish they would change that to "Nobody has captured one and brought it by my house so they must not exist."
Fuckers.
In case you can't tell, i'm with ya zappa lover.

We watched a show about a month ago on bigfoot. They had a few sets of scientists and then another set trying to re-create the walk of bigfoot.
One set went to some remote cabin that was broken into. They had some motion cameras set up but got nothing.
There was a set of women scientists(not sure all of them were) but they said they'd have a better go at it since they mentioned bigfoot might be able to notice the smell of them menstruating. (freaks, but my opinion) They also had motion camers and got some good deer pics, thats it. They also did casts.
But the kewl thing was that they had an interview with the guy who was there withthe famous video tape. He wasnt the one who shot the video though. They showed the entire footage, stuff apparently never seen. He seemed convincing to me.
If I can find out what the show was called I'll post it.

I remember seeing recently that new member mrwupy can confirm he made an actual sighting. It was interesting reading. Maybe it would have brought a smile to the gone face of boondock.
