I saw a post that was kind of in your style, bringing up some issues that you've mentioned as well (too focused on profit at expense of members, too many idiotic members..) that got deleted. Totally removed, with the person posting it banned as well. Sad thing is the poster did bring some valid points, despite it's overall negative theme.

To be honest, I don't even browse the forums anymore. The quality over there has gone downhill so fast it's not even funny.

The last time I checked, the front page of ATS was nothing but "junk" threads with the one in the lead having 3 flags.....

That's exactly what the person who got banned said in his/her post. Says he's seen the quality gone downhill in the past five years. I've only been browsing that forum for the past 4 years, though. What I can agree to is that the quality has gone down for the past two years.

As a matter of fact, I registered there to try and change some misconceptions people had about Asia and 'Eastern thinking'. Can't say I've been successful. It's a losing battle. I barely even try to, these days.
