"Time Flies" -- A Thread Inspired by AmKon's Bitch.

This saying has always been strange to me.


I have always felt the saying should be changed to "time flies, in retrospect".


Sure, when you look back at the good times in your life, time does seem like it flew by a bit too quickly.

However, as anyone who has ever had to wait two weeks on a paycheck just to buy food will tell you, real time CREEPS by.


Just think about all of those "last hour"s at a job you can't stand. That fucking hour feels longer than the other 7 (or more) of the day combined. At least until it is over.


When one stops and thinks about time lost, I suppose it's only natural to feel that it went by too quickly. I guess that's just a part of us taking the time we have for granted.



Oh well.
