Hi, A_P and I have been following each other around through a number of forums. Since I read the posts in her intro, I had to be a wise ass and jolt her. That meant I couldn't use my standard screen name so I chose Korzybski except I misspelled it by accident. (Alfred Korzybski was the originator of General Semantics and wrote the book Science and Sanity. )

I was much gentler and more objective than A_P on BTS but still got two warnings. One was for publically criticizing a moderator for making his long silly personal christian story a sticky so it remained at the top of the Faith section even though no one was posting on it.

I was told the proper procedure to complain, so I used it to point out that there were a number of fundamentalists posting off-topic on an atheist thread I had started. I suggested that they be warned not to do that. So, I got a U2U from a moderator telling me that I could point out possible misposts, but that I was not to recommend specific action.

Oh, personal info. I'm a 77 year old crotchety old fud who's only been an atheist for 65 years with a short teen age time of being an agnostic.

K/O = that's a good acronym for you!

Welcome to AK, K/O.

This place is much more relaxed than BTS. I can say naughty words here!

Thank you very much for changing my name back to Occam. I just felt disconnected without it.

It was weird not being able to address you by the familiar handle.

Yeah, and I was just getting used to your prior one, and now it'll be G_N.

Just GN. My middle name (underscore) is silent.

OK, but usually an initial G followed immediately by an N is also silant. So maybe I should just call you N. :D

Hey, I just noticed that the weekday abbreviations at the bottom of your atavar are all in English except the last one, and that's in German - Wednesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, Dienstag.
