There is no hope for RP as a "republican't" candidate.
I think he needs to put that money to use and get started campaigning as an independent.
If he waits until the last minute, his already slim chances will surely continue to drop.

Staying on the Republican ticket is the only way he's been garnering this much attention. I say, "rock it 'til the wheels fall off." He's on stage competing and completely obliterating the other candidates. As soon as he can't possibly do any more, I say run as an independent just in time to make the deadline. If he gives up his party and runs as a Libertarian, he's going to fall off the face of the earth.
