I bet they got a research grant to carry out this study.
Okay some scholars claimed that the "black plague" killed both the rich and poor, all race's and sex that came into contact were as liable to contract the disease as anyone else.
But you dont need to be a bloody Rhodes scholar to say that the frail and sick would have been at more risk do you.
I'm a bit tetchy today. :D

"This actually contradicts what many have assumed about the epidemic - that given the extraordinary mortality of the Black Death, it must have killed people indiscriminately," says Dr DeWitte. "Some contemporary reports of the Black Death state that everyone was at equal risk. But we have quantitative evidence that not everyone was at the same risk."

Exactly.......theres scholars out there bustin there arses trying to get grants to carry out some really important work, yet something like this, because it's linked to "the Black Plague" which will get more notice gets the cash. Crazy shit!!
funny story, and its not really related, but a lesbian couple i knew many years ago applied to the government as a joke for funds to start a lesbian surf club. guess the rest!!! lol.

They have shown hunger kills the weakest first but forgot to write it down and submit it. No check for them.
