I've got a problem, man. I can't stop it. I'm a firestarter, twisted firestarter. I like burning stuff, man. With matches. There's something cathartic about watching that thing go psssttzz, shooosh and then looking at the flames lick stuff in it's path.

It's been that way since I was a kid. I burned my room once. But that wasn't the end. In school I burned the lab down. Made nitroglycerine when the teacher wasn't around. There is still a hole in the basketball court. But that wasn't as fun as watching the sink burn, and seeing my lab partner try uselessly to put it out with water (I used a naphthalene+alcohol mix for that, floats on water and is pretty waterproof )

Just now I burned a tree. It was beautiful. Tomorrow I'm going to burn a doughnut. The local pastry shop uses too much butter. I bet it will burn nicely and smell good, too.

Bk...You..uhhmmmm..Need some help. LMAO..I have never heard of burning a doughnut...Bag of chips yes.....Doughnut .....no Perhaps some electroshock therapy might be in order here....

I'm going to hold the doughnut with that thing that looks like a scissors but isn't and bump it up and down while it burns. I might be able to make doughnut-smoke smoke-doughnuts.

Oooh, you know what else is fun to burn? Those green scrubbing pads used for the toilet or kitchen. What you do is you tie it at the end of a string, set it aflame and swing it around your head. Who needs sparklers when you've got those things! They make nice blue and red sparks (or at least the brand I use does).

Oh -- electroshock therapy is a bad idea. I'll forget everything. It's like a reboot. All my RAM will be wiped out. I won't be me.

I used to douse my action figures in lighter fluid and burn them...it was fun...but man, you burned down a poor tree? I hope you had a reason to do it...cuz to randomly burn down a tree is not good dude...

Bitchkoma

It was no random act.

I wanted to start a forest fire.

Oh, ok...I guess thats ok...as long as you had a plan. Just remember Pyromania is only fun if your drunk.....(forks rule)

Lighter fluid is so useful! I lived in a garage for a winter once and some waterbugs laid eggs in one of my cardboard boxes. They hatched out into inch long grubs that were crawling across the floor. Really freaked me out.

I spent two nights in a row sitting up with lighter fluid in a can and a box of wooden matches. Any time I saw one crawling around, I'd squirt it with the lighter fluid from a distance, then toss a match on it.

Much better than squishing them.

Can I be stoned instead? I don't like to get drunk. Tipsy on benzodiazepines is okay, I guess.

Edit to add:

Wow, AP! That's an excellent idea! But I don't know how effective it is against cockroaches. I usually use a can of whatever spray with a flaming piece of paper held with that-thing-that-looks-like-a-scissors-but-isn't. Flamethrower for the win!

Necessity is the mother of invention. As well as the mother of great pyrotechnics.

Let me know how it works on the roaches. Though I don't know if trying it out on the flying variety is exactly safe.

Wow guys..Firestar can commiserate. There is a reason I always choose flames.

It's better to burn out than fade away....

BK How come you killed that poor defenseless tree?

It wasn't defenceless. It had three military divisions -- an army of red ants, a contingent of termite engineers and air support via stinging wasps.

Well then....Not so healthy then...I hope destruction was complete. I certainly hope you took no prisoners....

Seriously...If you want/need help let me know and I will see what I can do

Kill them lil' nasties! I now back your campain of fire! Death be to bugs!!!! :x

Yo Mama

Those Thai insects are scary. Flying ants, flying cockroaches, spiders as big as your hand. And the heat makes them fast, so when you get ants on you, you get ants ALL OVER you.

Take no prisoners!

Bitchkoma

But I'm not from Thailand. Close, but closer to the equator. So it's hotter, and the bugs are faster.

Hey AP (damn... I don't like those acronyms, the old MM sounded better) did you go for a Full Moon Party at Koh Pha Ngan?

The store was out of doughnuts. So I burned superglue instead. Did you know it goes *boom* like a firecracker?

Yo Mama
01-31-2008, 01:38 PM
Yeah, I liked MM better too. You can still call me that, just not the full name. That ought to really confuse people.

I was at the full moon party and I wish I hadn't been. It was just like being in a club in London except it was outside and hot. Same people, same music, too loud. We spent one night in Had Rin and then found a better beach to stay on, Thong Nai Pan.

Superglue goes boom? I'm going to have to try that sometime.
