What form of spirituality do you practice? Do you practice one at all?

I personally am somewhere between a "New Ager," not the crystal therapy and unicorn kind, but you'll get the idea if you read enough of my posts, :D and a Gnostic Christian.

Christian mixed with new age ideas. I consider myself a very spiritual person. My local church does not think so, but IMHO one does not have to sit in a room filled with people who are there just to be there, ya know what I mean? (I hope that makes sence...)

Yeah, you and I basically are similar.. Some ask, "How can you be both?" Really, Christianity and the "New Age" have more in common than either side would like to admit, but, that is a whole other thread in and of itself.

I think of myself as a spiritual person yet i dont believe in a higher power or deity.
What definition of spirituality do you have?

I believe in a "spirit" and a "higher power". Though, I do not believe that higher power is a god or gods.

Energy is certainly a higher power.

I am along the same lines as SoT and Corey. I see too much in main stream religion that contradicts what God is teaching. What I have often thought about, and have trouble rectifying with my beliefs, is since there are so many different religions is the world...Is God just saying "Here. Believe in me. Find what way suits you best..Just believe in me"

i don't really practice any particular form of spirituality, but you already know that.

the closest thing i have to a form of spirituality is my open-source atheistic spirituality, which sounds entirely contradictory, but it's not.
i just take some nice ideas from philosophical and religious systems that i like, combine it with empathy, and throw in some stuff that i like from the Jedi mode of thought.

I would be in the other category.

Officially (as in if I was running for office) I'm a Unitarian Universalist.
Unofficially I'm a split between Atheist and a unique kind of Agnosticism based on something I thought of over time dealing with a scientific version of the soul.

I'd love to see an "educational" thread on Paganism.

If you are up for it.

:)

Paganism is a loose category with little to no dogma depending on the sect.

If I can get specific, I focus on one Goddess, that's it. It helps me get through the day.

I don't like labels, so I try not to put them on myself although it inevitably happens from time to time. When it comes to spirituality.. I don't follow any structured belief system or anti-belief system. I see the universe as a constantly changing mystery and I have made no determinations about it that I would say I "believe in".
