If the revolution were to start tomorrow, where would you stand?
Would you rush to the frontlines against those in power?
Would you become one of the next gen hippies?
With whom would your align yourself?
Most of you should know where I would be haha....

I would side with freedom. Freedom is what I stand for and what I would die for!

I would sertinly stand of the side of freedom!
This generation of kids have never had to fight for something they seem to enjoy.. Its called freedom, and its worth die'ing for!
Most people dont understand its something that will be challanged, and taken from you if you dont stand and fight at some point.
Would I rush in head first into a bunch of tanks? No..
But I would hunker down.. Wait for them to come to my home, and try to take what is mine..
I would use the shadows as my friend.. If they bust down my doors, I hide in the roof of my house, with my last grenade in one hand, and finger on the clip.. If they come up there we all die..
If they dont find me, I go on living, and finding a way to hold onto what little I do have..
Its hard to say how long you could hold out.. But chances are they will be using forgien support troops to clear out urban sights..
Bombs runs, and bio warefare..
I think its clear if they really want to wipe us all out they need is 1 doctor in each hospital across the nation..
50 doctors that all inject 1 person with the virus.. On one day..
And it would spread very quickly beyond control.
They only hope you have would be hunkering down.. Digg yourself into a cornor and dont roll over and say.. well you got me..
Sometimes many will say, If you cant beat um, join um..
I dont feel this way.. But I wouldnt ever want something like this to come to pass.. Peasents never have a very good track record on going up aginst well feed, armored units...

In all honesty, I'd grab my kids and try to find somewhere safe and away from the hot spots for us to survive, then spend my energies keeping us all alive, healthy, well fed, and educated.
Screw the world. They can tell me who won when there's a winner and then I'll decide if I want to join the party.
Likewise, id get my family safely out bush to a couple of places i know and wait to join the winners. :)

It seems that everyone is talking about invasion, not revolution.
The people running the government have been stealing our freedoms and our protections for about thirty years. It will be slowed down, but probably not reversed or even stopped if the Democrats get in. But the next time the Republicans get in, we can expect more loss of our privacy, more government control of our actions, a gradual weakening of the first, fourth, and fifth amendments.
However, if the citizens start a revolution, the military-industrial complex will manage to squelch it very quickly, and with minimum of loss of life. The need us peons to run their factories, serve in their military, and buy their products.
As an old fud, I won't have to worry about it, but for you younger people, you'll grow old having wonderful memories of what it was like under a representative democracy.

gawd damn straight....i am no fighter/militia man....i can hold my own thats for sure but i am not that type of fighter.
i am well armed here. i have a shotgun and several hand guns...we have bottled water and emergency food stashed.
my mother and father and law live real close to us as does my son. as much as i can not stand my sons mother, i would scoop my son and his mom up and we would head over to my in laws house and hunker down....bringing our supplies and my weapons with...
if we had to get out, they have a 4x4 blazer and a dodge ram....
i would just try to stay on lockdown and maybe head out every now and again to scavenge for whatever i could find...
i would NOT be the one out there helping all these people. i just don't have it in me.....i do not consider myself a coward but i am not a hero....i would have enough to worry about in looking after me and mine

my first instinct would be to survive and to keep me and mine alive...i would like to say that i would go out there and join some militia and take up arms but i would be telling a lie.
i just don't have that in me.

That is a tough one, I have the fighting side in me, but I have a little girl and a wife to think of first. I cant just run off and be a hero to someone else, I need to be their hero first. If it was absolutely necessary for me to fight so my daughter could have a great life then I would gladly give my life, or take someone elses fighting.
Like I said it is tough, I think in this country we have been groomed to be warriors. GI joe, playing army, etc, all the movies with war heros, it is hard to shake that off and not march off to battle. But I think I would hunker down and keep my baby and wife safe.

i think that is the best chance for survival....to dig in and try and stay in one place and protect you and yours....
i would not have a problem taking someones life if it was necessary

I think the revolution began when CERN decided not to copyright this.
Since then it has only been growing.
It wasn't televised.
It's online.

THe revolution is here. YOur a part of it. This is the information revolution. Any nation or any person can make military grade Coil guns, Build Sonic weapons of all kind, Install alternative energy devices Fully educate themselves in medical , academic, and military ideas....
All the information that would be incredibly difficult to acquire otherwise.
