Hmmmm .... in my opinion ..... our souls live on forever ... while our vessel(s) die out ........ ummmmm ... I remember certain "stuff" from one of my past lives ..... I've told Lori and Hannah about it ..... but I really don't want to bring it all out in the open ...... it's unbelievable  .

I feel strongly that we "cease to be." Life (all forms, animal or not) is precious and should be treated with the utmost care and concern. Though, I think when the lights go out, the lights go out. A secular death is more romantic than that of someone with a religious tilt.

The only evidence is for extinction of life. Until and unless they can actually quantify and record a soul in some way that can be tested scientifically, there isn't any such thing.

Life's precious, make the most of it while you have it. There's no guarantee of an afterlife.

We become worm food. :)

Like cells that die within our own body's every second, so in the end do we die like cells within this universal lifeform.

Yeah, right on!

I believe the same concept. Kind of a scientific reincarnation, if you will. That's why I refuse to be buried in a casket. I'm either giving myself to the ocean or find someway so I can in turn "give myself back." Sounds so new age, I can't believe it, but the process is a lot less dramatic in my mind.

If I can sock away the money, I want to do this for my kids when I finally die.

Hmmm deep questions..

I happen to follow the words of the Law of one..

While I dont put all my stock into one idea or method.. I happen to like the "feel" of the Law of one..

Being a druid of light, and deep follower I can only give you a key word if you so chose to enlighten yourself..

I will not sit here and tell you what to belive, or how to belive it..
Its not my place..

But here is a keyword to search..

what i think happens is all of our functions stop and we rot away....i would like to think i would be reincarnated as some super cool mofo or a nice pair of ladies panties or something but i just don't see it happening....

as general said...no way to prove there is a soul. far as i am concerned we are bug food and that is a very scary fucking thought in my mind

All of the above, depend about your way of life like religions.

If you are hinduist, when you die, you have been reincarnated.

If you are christhian, depends you are good guy (girl), you can go to heaven and you are evil guy (girl) you can go to hell, also if you have some problems about your sins, like neutral, you will be in prison of souls (purgatory).

If you are jew, you can go to heaven, i noticed all jews don`t believe hell.

If you are Islamic, same as christhian.

If you don`t have religion or whatever, you will not know.

I forgot about spirit walkers like ghosts, it may happen like purgatory.

Greets.

You either cease to be, or your bodies natural energy fields (neuro-electric & Electro Magnetic) coalesce and you self is essentially transferred/copied from the electric patterns of your brain and you continue on as a non-corporeal energy being, though I think given the process of change, you'd have all your memories, but may end up being a different individual as well.

If you don`t have religion or whatever, you will not know.

So if someone doesn't have a religion they can't know?

All that remains after we die are the memories of what we've done in the minds of those who knew us.

I had wanted to be cremated, but I realize that would contribute to global warming so to decrease my body's "carbon footprint" I want to be buried unembalmed in a very cheap casket so my body can act as fertilizer for other organisms.
