We have snakes galore here.
A rattler won't even make you sick 9 times out of 10....so no worries.
It's those dens of rattlers you have to watch out for............and around here.......coperheads and cottonmouths and such.........they are vicious and mean.........they will actually chase you.

Yes corey, you can get tackled..............though, you also have to take the taser for the honor of being the "tackled".
Chica, please tell me you mean a viper of some sort and not a hognose snake. Do you guys even have those up there? It basically feigns being a rattlenake by rapidly shaking it's rear (though it has no rattle or "beads) and, if that doesn't work, it proceeds to play dead.
It's actually a kick ass little snake.............even if it's defense mechanisms are quite silly

No guarantees you will see anything at all except a very long winding dirt road, and a few white trucks watching your ass.
Do you have expectations of seeing more than that, or is it just the for the bragging rights of saying "I've been there"
Last fall I was checking a fence and I looked down and a BIG rattlesnake was about 1 foot from my foot coiled up looking at me. He had 22 rattles, a week before, I found a dead one about 50 yds from him that was bigger than he was. They will make you make your pants smell bad.

There is nothing that I would like more, but I can't. I have to stay here and take care of my parents. They are getting old and my mother had a stroke back in 91 and is paralyzed on her right side and they depend on me a lot. I guess the closest I will ever get was in July 2001 when I went to Vegas to be in my cousins wedding. He stayed in the Luxor on the side that overlooked the airport. Guess what!! Right across the road was some white and red jets with no markings. It didn't take but a second for the light to go off in my head, Janet Airlines. :D :D :D

This is friend of a friend deal but...This guy went to the Roswell museum and said that the evidence that they had was "moving". Those were his words. Tad bit off topic...sorry
A cousin went to one of the bases out there, he didn't say which one but he said he had a good idea which one it was. He was a technician for a company that sold fax machines when they first came out. He said that he was told to go to a certain pay phone and dial a number. When he dialed the number, a man tapped him on the shoulder and asked him his name. He was put in a car and carried to an "air base" and put on a helicopter and flown around for a while frequently changing directions to try to confuse him. When the helicopter landed , he was pointed in one direction and told to walk straight to a door and not to look right or left, just walk straight to the door and if he dropped anything to not stop to pick it up. He was carrying three brief cases with parts, tools and service manuals. When he started running a test on the fax machine and it started printing, the guards grabbed him, spun him around and put a bag over his head. He was pissed. When they saw that it was just a test, they took the bag off his head. He told them that he had a top secret clearance and if they ever did that again, they could get somebody else to fix the machine. They never called him again. I guess he did a good job fixing the machine. :lol:
