Well here it comes, I consider myself a Republican. Now dont get me wrong, im not a "bushy by any means. I beleive in the true spirit of the "republicanism", small national government. I am a true beleiver in personal freedom and the America that our founders built. I am not a conservitive (sp?) but more of a liberal, so most other so called "republicans" shun me because of my beleifs in true liberty.

I don't really see myself as being affiliated with either party.

I was Democrat for a while. Now I'm just hoping someone will come along and fix all the damage that's been done, and I don't care if they're a member of the Church of the Subgenius,Republican Liberal,whatever........as long as they can get the job done.

I'm a Constitutionalist and a "Controlled Anarchist"

:P

If "controlled anarchy" would be possible (and not a complete contradiction of terms), it would rock so damned hard.

Libertarian under the circumstances given.

Probably a diehard Communist or Anarchist if I could have my way.

I believe in autonomous society, but too bad 99.9% of the population doesn't have the self control one would need for that to work.

Far left social liberal, and moderate fiscal conservative so Democrat. Note, fiscal conservativism doesn't mean cut programs or taxes, just don't go into hock for them. We need to tax people according to their ability to pay, not according to how little power they have. We must furnish our citizens all the benefits we can of being a citizen. That means first, superior free education and health care for all. Then maximize openness for the government, and maximize privacy for the citizens.

The older I get, the more convinced I am that we need a monarchy, with me as Queen.

Political Compass (http://www.politicalcompass.org/) says I'm center libertarian. Whatever that means.

I am pretty much a libertarian, strongly against government entitlement programs for people that dont want to work living off my dollar. If someone cant work, or needs a little help in the meantime, ok to a point, but I am sick of people living off my money.

Excuse me if I sound a little angered, I have just cut a check for more tax dollars to our wonderful thieving federal government. That and last night I was at the store and there were people in front of me. They had two cases of beer, a bottle of vodka, candy, smokes, and a bunch of other crap. They paid for that, then sent through all the other stuff, milk eggs, etc, and paid for that with food stamps. That is what pisses me off, if you can pay 150 dollars on booze and smokes, then you shouldnt be on an assistance program. Pissed me off to the point of saying something to them about it. They just looked at me like I had a penis on my forehead or something.

Since America is one of the only two civilized countries not to have a competitve Socialist party, I am not a member of any party, however I've voted for a Democrat 80% of the time in various local elections, though I have voted for a Republican twice and I voted for the Libertarian candidate in the last governor's election.

Anyways I favourSocial democracy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_democrat) following the Keynesian economic model (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keynesian) in the near term, but I am aDemocratic Socialist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_socialist) in the long run and is generally what I consider myself.
