A Few "Guidelines" For New Members - TOTALLY REVAMPED!

Since AmKon has grown a bit and really taken on a life of it's own, I felt it was time that I gave the ol' guidelines a bit of a revision.

We see to be in agreement here about what should NOT happen around the forums and I feel it's best to listen and incorporate.


EARN RESPECT THROUGH GIVING RESPECT -- Yea, this is a biggie. If you come on here and disrespect the members, they will disrespect you and verbally own your ass. While that is fun for some of us, others get bored with it very quickly. It's always best to just refrain from being a dick.


Don't be a dick. -- This pretty much goes with number 1 up there. However, it's a pretty big one (guideline, not dick) and I felt I should repeat it.


NO PORN SPAMMING!! -- Spamming porn sites on here will get your ass booted with the quickness. None of us really have any trouble with you guys advertising other sites as long as you are a contributing members. If you are obviously here SOLELY to spam the boards, you won't last very long. Don't do it, we won't visit the site anyway.


Learn, and be able to recite, the teachings of the great Mojo

Like jasn has said it is nothing more than common sense and respect.
Both are in short supply on other forums but not here.

Speak to others as you would wish to be spoken to, show respect for the forum and the freedoms that you are allowed, and above all else, love mojo.
Not me, but the luck you have received from fate by being pointed in this direction. :)

You are all intelligent and insightful folk who love to have fun, lets show the rest of the world exactly how a forum of this type should be run.

With some luck (mojo) and mutual respect i believe we can be the best alternative forum on the intertubez.
